Eyes fluttered, I groaned slightly as I shifted, the sun already up and disturbing my sleep. I snuggled even more against the bed, feeling the softness against my body. I couldn’t help whining slightly as the sun shone brightly against my face, disrupting my sleep. It was gone just like it came, now there was a soothing yet relieving shade covering my eye.

Wait, shade? Soothing shade?

My eyes shot open only to Aaron peering down at me, creased lines against forehead, tongue poking at his right cheek. Hair tousled roughly but not too rough. His eyes widen as soon as our eyes met, his face was inches away from mine. He is the shade covering the sun from me.

I felt my heart flutter at the thought but shoved it to the back. Watching Aaron’s eyes drop to my lips, he swallowed visibly. Jumping back slightly, he almost tumbled off the bed.
