Lucian's POV.

She entered the room and her eyes widened in shock. “What?”

“Welcome” I said stiffly, not knowing how to act merry.

I planned to throw a little party for her which wasn't my idea, but Darren's ideal.

Two days before the board meeting day.

I sat in my office signing some documents, but then my phone rang all of a sudden making me lose focus on work.

I picked up my phone, checking the caller identity, and it turned out to be Darren, my best friend.
