Chapter 1

Six teenagers stopped their car in front of an abandoned house in Minnesota. They are a group of TikTokers who often create horror-themed live streaming content. According to rumors, everyone who occupies this house will end up dying tragically. Whether it's real or just a rumor, the fact is that everyone who lives in this house always dies in a tragic way.

"Here we go!" Max said excitedly.

"Eiden, are you sure we're going to live here?" asked Elly who was sitting at the back with doubt.

"Yeah! I've read a lot of articles on the internet about this house. And it's so cool, you know!" replied Eiden excitedly. He was like a walking Wikipedia.

"Well, we're going in now," Sean said, "Max, get the phone and the tripod ready."

"Copy that. All in set!" replied Max.

They got out of the car, except Luna. She could feel something strange about the place that was not only creepy, but very disturbing.

"Hey, Luna. What are you doing? Come on, girl!" yelled Tania.

"Come on, Luna. Don't be a loser, hahaha!" taunted Max.

"Shut the fuck off, Max!" shouted Luna in annoyance.

Max never held his tongue. Luna picked up her scarf and put it on while looking around. The cold air strangely hit the girl's face.

Max switched on his phone and started their live TikTok session. Max pointed the camera at his friends one by one. The audience began to enter the live room.

Sean excitedly started the session, "Heyya, everyone! Welcome back to the CreepyHells Channel. Oh my god! You won't believe where we are now. Guess! Where are we?!"

"Yeah! We're in an abandoned house in Minnesota. You must know the rumors about this house, right?" Elly continued.

"Alright. I don't think we need to explain much, since most of you already know the story about this house. Should we go straight in?" Eiden said.

"Okay, here we go. Don't forget to tap-tap the screen and send the gifts, guys!" Sean said while turning on his flashlight.

They entered a yard full of weeds. The audience started to break the 5k views in a short time. On the other hand, Luna was feeling increasingly claustrophobic. The energy in that place was very strong for her. Of the six of them, she was the only one who had the ability to sense "their" existence. But she didn't want to go back to the car either.

The house was quite large and had two floors. In some parts, it looked fragile.

"How many families were killed here, Eid?" Tania asked Eiden.

"According to the information I've read, eight families died tragically for reasons that don't make sense to me. One of them was a newlywed couple named Franklin and Maria. The story goes that Franklin died by suicide, while Maria went crazy."

"Eight families? Well, that's a lot .... and a poor couple," Luna said.

Sean tried to open the door, but it can't be opened. The police must have locked the house on purpose and put up a police line.

"Looks like we can't get in," said Tania.

'Click!'

"I don't think so." Max sat by the open window with a smile. No one knew how long he had been there. "You are welcome!"

"Wow! I didn't know you had the talent to be a thief," Elly joked.

Max was stunned by Elly's spontaneous words. Sean tapped Max on his shoulder. They entered the house one by one through the window.

It was pitch black inside. They turned on their flashlights and lighted up the living room which was full of dust and old things. The atmosphere of the house was very spooky, and only their steps broke the silence inside.

Luna felt increasingly pressured and she began to feel something unexplained. "I feel like there are a lot of eyes watching us," she said quietly.

Max just laughed, "Stop being so dreamy, Luna. Are you pretending to be a Nancy Drew?"

Luna snorted in annoyance at Max.

Sean continued to talk explaining everything to the audience as he continued to explore the house. Moving from room to room. 

All the rooms looked dirty and dusty, with many items that seemed to be still fit for use, but had been left behind. It was not unusual, because after the last victim, no one else was living in the house so it fell into the hands of the local government.

They went up to the second floor and entered the first room near the stairs. Elly found a photograph on the table. It was a picture of a happy family. A middle-aged couple, a son and a teenage daughter. If you look at the place, it looks like the photo was taken in front of this house. But there was something strange about the photo. There was a dark shadow that seemed to be floating behind them.

"Guys, look at this!" Elly shouted.

They gathered around Elly and looked at the photo in her hand.

"What is that?" asked Max as he pointed to the black shadow on the photo.

"That's the point," Elly said.

"There seems to be something wrong with this house," Tania whispered to Elly and Luna.

"Okay, there's nothing strange about this place," said Max as he pointed the camera around the room, "Let's try the second room and the last one in this house. Come on, guys!"

They left the room and entered the room at the end of the corridor. This place was more like a reading room. There was a single sofa and a small table by the window. There were two shelves filled with dusty books. They began to explore the place.

Tania looked through the books on the shelves. While Luna opened a drawer near the sofa. There were a lot of cassettes containing old songs. Nothing caught her attention, except for a black cassette. Luna was about to pick up the tape, but Eiden rushed ahead of her.

"Terrifying, 1982. Have you heard this song before?" asked Eiden as he flipped through the cassette.

Just then, they heard footsteps coming up the stairs. All eyes widened. They weren't alone here!

Sean looked at his friends, "We have to go now!"

Just about to leave the room, a security guard appeared at the door.

"What are you doing?" he asked sternly.

"I am sorry, sir. We're just exploring this place for a content." Sean tried to explain.

The security gave them a disliked look, "This is not a place to fool around and no one is allowed to enter this place except for the authorized parties. Didn't you guys see the restriction sign outside the fence, huh?"

They all fell silent.

Sean tried to speak, "Alright, sir. I apologize, but-"

"Get out!"

They stared at each other.

"I said, get the fuck out! And you-" Security pointed at Max, "Turn off your camera!"

Max sputtered and quickly turned off his camera, then everyone left the room. It seemed that their performance tonight would get them a lot of comments and bully from CreepyHells Channel fans.

After leaving the house, they got back into the car and drove straight home. On the way, Luna looked back several times while continuing to feel uncomfortable.

"Hey, what's going on?" asked Elly.

"I feel like something is following us."

"Who?" Sean who was driving was curious as he looked in the rearview mirror, but the road was empty and there was no one else but them.

"I don't know. I just feel like... there's something wrong." Luna felt a bit nervous, and suddenly....

"Sean, watch out!"
