Cassandria POV.

It has been five months since Matteo proposed to me and I said yes; I am now seven months pregnant. Things couldn’t have been better. When we arrived home Alina and everyone had prepared a small get together to celebrate our engagement the following day.

Matteo knows I don’t like the huge celebrations, so it was small and intimate. Then, about six weeks later, we had a scare.

I had started bleeding and was put on bed rest. The twins are fine and we found out they are, in fact, girls. Another reason to panic. Matteo insisted that we marry once the OBGYN had released me from bedrest.
