Victoria’s POV Nathan has just told me he is part of a werewolf family. Wait, are they a family or something else? I use his computer to search information about werewolves. I don’t want anyone thinking I’m insane by searching for this crap. So according to this, werewolves live is groups called packs. Like the apartments, well that makes sense why everyone in the apartments are so obsessed with their partners. They have mates, like Nathan said, soulmates. They can feel each other’s pain. That explains why when he is angry so am I. They can calm each other, well duh to that. They are possessive and jealous. Most mates avoid touching the opposite sex because Mates can’t stand to see it or smell the other scent. Can Nathan even smell anyone else without a wolf? I also read about Alphas, Betas, Gammas, Deltas, Warriors and Omegas. So here are my questions for Nathan and his family….. Am I bound to him forever without a choice? What happens if one of us dies? Can he ever fall for anyone else, like will he get a second mate? Will our children have wolves? Is there anything I need to know, other than not to touch another guy in anyway? Do we have to return to Atlanta after we graduate to join the pack? Who is their Alpha? What is Nathan considered without a wolf? How does this affect me in the future? Nine questions. Nathan answers these and I like the answers I stay, I live my fairytale with the man I love. I don’t like these answers, I will move back to the dorm. And Nathan and I both will suffer, I’m sure. I love him so much. I pull the scrapbook out of my bottom desk drawer and start looking through it. All photos of us with our friends where I cut out everyone but us. I did this before he was mine. Did I already feel this mate bond? Is that why I was nuts over him? I was under his spell all that time? I’m in trouble. How can I get through this? What am I going to do if I can’t accept his answers? I don’t think I could ever live without him. What about his family? I love his parents so much. They love me like a real family already. I have never had that until now. The hug at the airport was the first motherly hug I’ve had ever. Well the first one I made note of. Laura hugged me like that all summer. She knew and she wanted me to be safe with her. She was ready for this. I’m ready. Time for answers.
