Chapter 22: Trust

"Oh, why did you talk to Sir Gideon so quickly?" Alice asked, just coming out of the kitchen.

Isabel sighed. "I didn't talk to him much. He is with Ms. Freya at the office, I even heard that they ordered pizza. I don't know if Ms. Freya made me hear that she knows Gideon better than I do or something.” she said with mixed doubts.

"They are still at work at this hour? But at Resorts I rarely see them together.” Alice answered.

Isabel let out a sigh. "Maybe Gideon is really busy at work, maybe he needs help from Ms. Freya, that's why she's there too." she replied, trying to calm herself down.

"Hmm, it's better to trust your boyfriend, Isabel. Besides, they've only been in the City for two days, maybe Freya will just get really close, taking advantage of the fact that you're not by Sir Gideon's side."

Isabel nodded in agreement with what Alice said. "I trust Gideon, but Ms. Freya no—Haist, I don't want to think bad of Gideon, he promised me!" She stood up and went to the kitchen to drink
