Dowen High" she said again "four years ago a beautiful relationship was formed there,or should I say a bitter sweet relationship,cus it sadly ended. A relationship which comprises of Ivan Donald and our beautiful Adure, haha" she let out a slight chuckle " I know it's suprising to all of you,I know but why don't we let our stat speak" she said due to the chattering and gasps from the audience " so Adure what do you have to say about this,cus you've never mentioned it before,we are so surprised.so if it's okay with you we would like to know more about this story,is it really true,or is it just a rumour? The floor is yours " she added

Hmmmmm, Nancy has finally dropped the bombshell , my God what do I do, I just sat there with a blank face.my eyes kept darting around the place as if I was in search of something till it finally met with Folake's .she too had a nervous look on, by now I know everyone must be gawking at me .This is it,I'm screwed, infact I'm done, I don't even know what to say .I just remained unmoved with my eyes fixed on Folake

" You can do this" she suddenly mouthed giving me a smile, which I slowly returned .can I really do this,it's been four years now, four bloody years . am I courageous enough to talk about it,hmmm here goes nothing

"-'' Nancy wanted to say but I beat her to it

"It's not a rumour,it's true. I had a relationship with Ivan Donald and that was four years ago" I said

"Wow , so we want to know more about this ,I mean how long it lasted ,why you broke up,stuffs like that,I mean that's if you don't mind" she pointed out

"Well um , I don't mind" a sigh excaped my lips. I guess I'm actually doing this " but I must warn you the details are long,ours was a very long one,I'm not sure we have the time for it" 

"Oh,that's okay sweetie.today's show is a very special one and since it's you, we can even spend all the time in the world, listening to your story,cus we love you and want to know you better.plus you are a a great story teller .am I right guys?" She said out loud facing the audience

"Yes" they screamed

" So Adure madame,the mic is yours"

Hmmmm I'm not sure I can do this anymore , memories of us just kept popping in my head ,"breath breath,calm down" I muttered to my self ,I took a deep breath ,my hands clasped together .the studio was so quiet now ,I sighed again and after a few moment of silence I finally spoke up

" Look into my eyes and tell me you don't love me" these were his last statement to me before we parted

Chapter three

He was my first love , my first crush and my first kiss. I still remember how I beamed with smiles the day he asked me out,I still remember how I longed for more the day he kissed me, what can I say damn he was a good kisser. It all started at senior year SS3 first term,on the 13th of may 2019.

Recalling:

  It was the beginning of the term and as usual first day of school was always stressful , cus we would have to arrange our dorms, put our things in order , sometimes make up for some unfinished last term work and the worst part was we were never much ,yea 'we ' cus I never missed school,I always get a straight attendance award every year and a straight A award as well ,yea I was like the perfect student, perfect senior prefect , you bet I was every teachers favorite except Mr Godwin ,the schools physics teacher. I don't blame the man though, I myself had the same resentment towards him and it was for no reason,I only hated him because I hated physics alot back then in SS1 and it rubbed off on him. I was in the middle of my lunch when the principal called for me ,I grumbled as I walked to his office,*what does he want from me now,I've been working since morning supervising the student * I thought 

"Oh here she comes" his coarse voice welcomed me into the office

" Good day sir" I greeted him and the man sitting there as well

"Good day Adure,how are you" he asked 

"I'm fine sir" I responded 

" Good, good. So Mr.Donald she's the one I was telling you about,Adure Badmus,the senior prefect of this school" The principal said to the man

" Oh yes,yes.she's just as you said earlier, respectful and polite" now facing me " hi dear,I'm Mr.Tobechukwu Donald" I couldn't help but blush,he spoke so softly

"Adure Badmus" 

"What sort of a name is that" a voice was heard behind me

" And what sort of a face is this" he snorted,the look of disgust can be clearly seen in his countenance. *damn,my tribal marks*I thought. I've always hated them

" Ivan don't be rude " Mr.Tobe reprimanded 

"Dad I only said what I saw,look at her" he took another glance at me, before he turned away.i felt like crying,I felt so miserable

"That's enough Ivan" the principal finally spoke up

"Adure I'm sorry for that, please don't mind my son" Mr.Tobe pleaded

"Your son" I didn't know when it excaped my lips,they were so different. Mr.Tobe was light skinned , the so-called Ivan was caramel. Mr.Tobe was nice, while Ivan was rude. Mr.Tobe was handsome but Ivan was more handsome, I couldn't deny ,he was a melanin beauty.i used beauty because that's what describes him perfectly.he's beautiful

" So Ivan as you already know this is Adure,she's the senior prefect of this school.i called her here specially for you" *wait,for him,why was I called for him * I thought 

"Well Adure, lvan just got admitted here and since you are the SP,I want you to show him to the boys dormitory and also around the school when his all settled " he said with a smile as I nodded my head

" So Ivan , welcome to Dowen High . Trust me you will love it here, you both can go now" The principal added

" Yea right" Ivan scoffed " see you later Dad" he said and they hugged. I just stood still wondering how and why they were related , cus they were so different.

" Hey ugly,can you move? '' he snapped me out of my thought " yea , right" I muttered.i was about moving when Mr.Tobe called

" Oh and Adure,thank you" 

"You are welcome sir". With that we were both out of the office, while Ivan's guards trailed behind us carrying his bags.we kept walking till we finally got to the gate of the boys dormitory,I immediately stopped at the block and so did the rest.

"Why did we stop" he asked

"Well this is it,and I can't go any further .so just go in and the dorm master will show you to a room" I responded

" What do you mean by to a room,my dad already asked the school management to prepare a personal room for me,so that should be a* to my room* ". 

"Look I'm not the school management , neither am I the dorm master who they must have given that information,I've done my part and I'm off" I spoke up, about to walk away but then he held me back

"What were you about to do Adure , no one walks out on me " 

" Well finally someone called me by my name ,oh and you didn't die while saying it " I scoffed

" - " he was about to say when Ifeanyi the dorm master walked up to us." Adure is everything okay" he asked really concerned, anyone would cus the way Ivan was holding me was kinda fishy
