I couldn’t wrap my head around the fact Dad had just told me. I didn’t know if I could call him ‘Dad’ anymore. He was one of the tools that confused me the most about who I was.

Dad told me when Kirk just went back with the news from The Gursala. But it was the news that I didn’t expect at all.

I anticipated that the news was about Andrea being pregnant with Joe’s child. But it wasn’t about that.
