Lucan stared at Valen's face and burst into laughter.

"You've done worse. Fighting a mere werewolf is just as easy as bread." Lucan replied, demonstrating by pressing the soft loaf in his hand. He tore it and threw it into his mouth, chewing and swallowing it before he continued.

"You are the next in line to your father, and you must have some training, so do a little more on it, and you'd be good to go."

"You can't compare me, who is a novice, to someone who has been receiving training from a Lycanis for months or years now. You can just give me some tips and I will be fine." Valen sounded disappointed.
