Demon hunters

His beautiful white hair...under the moonlight was the only thought in her head. The incident which occurred was mind wrecking, to say the least. A weak teenager like herself awakened a blessing. And most importantly, fought toe to toe with a demon.

Although it might have been a low-level demon, she did well for a beginner. She was one step closer to her newfound goal, eliminating every single creature of hell.

After the incident, Sarah wanted to question who the man was. They had coincidentally bumped into each other twice and on that same day, witnessed him kill a demon with hardly any effort at all.

Curiosity ate her from inside, but her priorities then were to get her friend taken care of at a hospital. That was most important.

Of course, as she left she completely ignored Jessica, the cause of all this. Jessica was still in shock at not only what occurred but the lives that were put an end to due to her stupidity.

However, Sarah did not leave without giving the culprit a warning....or more clearly a threat that shook her to her core.

The blonde teen wanted to thank the handsome yet mysterious man for his actions, but he said the most absurd thing at that moment.

"You wished to bring your wrath upon all of these creatures." He pointed toward the now decomposing body of the demon. Without a heart, its body would completely disintegrate.

He then turned to Sarah with a serious look, causing her to step back. The sudden turn elevated his hair, showing his red eyes.

"I will help you kill them. I will bring out your wrath." He calmly said as he took his leave. He left an address he wanted them to meet up on a Saturday, which was the next day.

"Um..." She was speechless and once more stared as he left.

----------------------------------------------

On a Saturday morning, she stood near a tall building. It was where they were supposed to meet. Coincidentally, it happened to be in front of a branch building of the demon hunters.

'I wonder what he is planning.' Usually, no sane person would meet a stranger at an unknown place. But, when he spoke she could feel it, he was what she needed to make her newfound goal happen.

'Gosh, it is windy.' Sarah noticed, tugging on her skirt to prevent it from revealing any undergarments.

She was unsure as to what to wear, so she wore a striped skirt as well as a cute black skirt. She would usually question Mia as to what to wear but she was unfortunately in the hospital.

"So you came." The white-haired boy spoke behind her.

She was startled and nearly stumbled to the ground but he caught her arm, preventing her fall.

" Um....thanks."

"No problem."

"So, why did you bring me here? She politely asked.

"Is it not obvious? To incur your wrath without any distractions, you must become a demon hunter." He explained.

With that said, he walked past her to open the glass doors to the buildings. It was halfway open until he felt a hand holding his white jacket.

"We have not talked a lot. But every time you do, you mention stuff like bringing about wrath or incurring wrath. Tell me, who are you and how are you so strong." She inquired.

Seeing as she did not get an answer yet, she decided to rephrase," At least, tell me your name."

"My name, huh?" He now closed the door and stared at the skies almost as if reminiscing.

"You can call me Tan" He answered, resuming the process of opening the door.

'Which negligent parent names their child Tan?' Sarah nodded her head.

As they entered the building, they were greeted by the sight of the fanciest lounge one could ever see.

However, Tan did not waste time spectating and walked up to the receptionists. There, they signed up to be demon hunters. Luckily for them, the testing was done every Saturday afternoon.

Due to the presence of demons terrorizing humans, more and more people signed up to be demon hunters. This was because unless in danger, it was illegal to hunt them, and the demon hunters association gave items and equipment to their hunters.

They were led to a room, which was packed with people who also wanted to sign up.

"Hello, everyone! Thank you for signing up to be a hunter, where we will make the world a safer place. One demon at a time. There will be two tests. A fight-based one where you will be teleported to the terrain to fight each other to test your abilities and a written test. Please wait for a few minutes and an instructor will teleport you and explain better." A voice announced on the microphone.

"D-Do you think we should make allies?" Sarah asked nervously.

"Do as you wish." He leaned against the wall and spoke without looking at her.

'What is up with him, trying to act so cool? Are guys usually like this?' She decided to walk alone. Despite being quite gorgeous, she did not socialize with the opposite sex much.

She walked through the room alone, finding people to talk to. Hopefully, make allies. However, it was safe to say everyone was equally odd.

There was a creepy man who kept asking girls if they were below the age of 18. Then, a woman who clearly could not refuse the temptations to dip her head into makeup. Her face was covered in it.

'Ugh, lord help me indeed.'

Alas, she gave up until a hand grabbed her shoulder. She turned back to finally see an average guy accompanied by a kind-looking girl.

"Do you want to join us?" he asked.
