Chapter 16

Crissy’s Point of View

“Hello, Grandma.” I start to cry. Tears rolling down my face making my sight blurry.

“Oh baby, it’s going to be fine. He was bound to find out sooner or later.” While she says this, she hugs me tightly. Rubbing my back.

“I know, but I was supposed to tell him. Now he wants nothing to do with me.” My voice was quavering. The words struggle to leave my mouth.

“He needs time. He will forgive you, I know, and I also know you have been having a hard time lately.” She pushes me back slowly placing her hands on my face. Wiping away some of my tears.

“And the nightmares are getting worse.” Shaking my head before the tears roll down my face once again.

“It will get better my nugget. You just need to keep on taking your medication. Maybe this was a good thing that happened. Maybe now you won’t feel like it’s your fault anymore. Please remember I’m one phone call away, dear.” She gives me a kiss on the forehead. Making me smile a bit.
