Every step Jace took to away from Alpha was heavier and harder for him, as if he was walked down in a ravine that he could barely step on his feet, as if he was being dragged submerged in it.

 Actually it was hard and painful for him to turned his back  and leave the man that way. 

But that is what it takes, to hurt him and believe that he does not have any feeling for the man, it is only been a few months since they've known each other and been together. 

It’s not hard for Alpha to forget him, especially since there are so many men and women lined up for him from high packs and ready to form a family with the man.

 Just Jace imagine that the man was stand in front of the altar and wear a wedding dress while waits for his fiancée to walk down in the hallway, he was already hurt.

 But that's all, that's all he can do and felt because he can't stop that thing to be happen, the day will definitely come.
