LOGINChapter 04
Alicia POV “Can you please get out of my car!” I kept saying, but he completely ignored me. Holy shit. Is he seriously making fun of me? My lips pressed into a thin line as I stopped talking altogether. I was beyond furious. First, I got lost. Second, I ran into a group of absolute lunatics. And now, I was being dragged to a place I did not even recognize. This is kidnapping. I swear, if I manage to get out of this place alive, I will make sure all of them rot in jail. The car suddenly stopped in front of a massive mansion. What the hell are we doing here? I glanced at him and watched as he stepped out of my car. Yes. This is my chance. I immediately slid into the driver’s seat and started the engine as fast as I could. I heard him curse loudly as he rushed back, attempting to open the door, but I already stepped on the gas. “Stop that fucking car, woman!” he shouted angrily. Stop that fucking car my ass. Goodbye, asshole. I drove away from the mansion, a satisfied smile forming on my lips as I left him behind. Finally. I escaped that kiss stealing monster. But then, when I focused back on the road, my smile vanished instantly. My eyes widened as I slammed on the brakes. How? How did he get here so fast? Before I could process anything, dizziness washed over me. My head spun violently from the sudden stop, and my vision blurred. Damn it. Not now. Darkness should not take me now. I need to leave this place. The last thing I saw before passing out was him standing in front of my car. His expression looked both furious and worried at the same time. Then everything went black. --- I woke up in an unfamiliar room. Everything was dark, and the air carried a strong masculine scent. Hell. Memories rushed back into my mind, and I immediately sat up on the bed. Big mistake. Dizziness hit me again, forcing me to steady myself. “Fuck,” I muttered as I pressed a hand to my forehead. Why am I feeling like this now? I slowly stood up and looked around the room. It was spacious, dark toned, and undeniably male. My stomach suddenly growled. I glanced at the wall clock. 12:23. It was late. I did not have a proper lunch, and I completely missed dinner. I walked toward the door and opened it carefully. Where am I? The house was massive, eerily quiet, and completely empty from what I could see. Is anyone even living here? I stopped walking when I noticed someone standing at the end of the hallway. Him. The man they called Alpha. I stepped backward instinctively as he walked toward me. Who is he? Why does he make me feel like this? Why am I irritated and intimidated at the same time? There was something powerful about him, something commanding. The kind of presence that demands obedience without saying a word. I did not even realize he was already standing in front of me. “So, you are awake?” he asked. Pssh. “Obviously,” I replied coldly. His expression did not change. He reached out and touched my forehead, catching me completely off guard. “Do not attempt to leave,” he said calmly. “Because from the moment I found you, you are already mine.” What? I slapped his hand away immediately. “No one owns me except myself,” I snapped. “Where is my car?” I demanded. He ignored me. Of course he did. “Where is my car?!” I asked again. Still no answer. Great. A few seconds passed before he finally spoke. “Your car is gone.” What? “What do you mean?” I asked, shock flooding my voice. He did not respond. Instead, he turned and started walking away. Shit. This is not right. All my things were inside that car. I do not even know where the hell I am, and now my car is gone too? What kind of nightmare is this? “Where are my things?!” I shouted. He stopped walking. “In our room,” he replied without looking back. Our room? What the hell?! He continued walking. I rushed after him. “Our room? Are you fucking kidding me?!” He stopped so suddenly that my forehead collided with his back. “Ouch,” I hissed, rubbing my forehead. Today is really not my day. He turned to face me, his expression serious. “I am not kidding,” he said. I raised an eyebrow. “Who the hell are you?” I demanded. He acted like he knew me, like I belonged to him. “I am your mate,” he answered calmly. Mate? Mate as in what? Schoolmate? Workmate? “I mean your name,” I clarified. He stared into my eyes, and for a brief moment, I saw something strange there. Longing. What the fuck? I blinked twice. “Kaizer,” he said. So that is his name. “Kaizer?” I repeated. “Any surname?” Instead of answering, he stepped closer. I stepped back. He trapped me against the wall with one strong arm. Shit. He was too close. My heart started racing uncontrollably. “So, you are curious now?” he asked huskily. Damn it. Why does he sound like that? “Alicia, get yourself together,” I scolded myself internally. “I am not curious,” I denied, but my body betrayed me as I unconsciously licked my lips. His lips curved slightly. He leaned closer, and for a moment, I thought he was about to kiss me again. Instead, he whispered into my ear. “Stop torturing me,” he murmured. “I waited for you for so many years. Now that I have found you, I want to mark you so badly.” He leaned back and kissed my forehead instead. Then he walked away, leaving me completely stunned. What the hell just happened? Did he just call me babe? I shook my head, trying to clear my thoughts. This is insane. I returned to the room I woke up in earlier, relieved that I did not get lost. When I entered, I saw him lying on the bed. Oh no. Do not tell me we are sharing the bed. No. Absolutely not. I glanced around and spotted my belongings neatly placed on a small table. So he was not lying. I walked closer. “Hey,” I called. No response. “Kaizer,” I called again. His eyes opened, and before I could react, he pulled me toward him. I landed on the bed, and suddenly he was hovering over me. “Shit,” I muttered. “My name sounds beautiful when you say it,” he said huskily. “Get off me,” I snapped. He grabbed both my wrists with one hand and pinned them above my head. He smirked. “Get off me,” I repeated firmly. His expression darkened. “I will never let you go,” he said slowly. I glared at him. “You do not even know me.” “It does not matter,” he replied. “All that matters is I already found you. My mate.” Without warning, he captured my lips. His kiss was possessive, overwhelming, and consuming. Heat spread through my body in ways I could not explain. His hand moved along my back, pulling me closer. His lips traced my jaw, then my neck, before returning to my mouth. My mind was screaming at me to stop. But my body was betraying me. He teased my lips, biting and kissing until I could not resist anymore. A soft moan escaped me before I could stop it. Shit. What am I doing? I wanted him close. I wanted his touch. Why? His lips traveled down again, leaving marks on my skin. That was when reality finally slapped me back. I shoved him away and scrambled off the bed. Damn it. I was making out with a stranger. What the hell is wrong with me? Breathing heavily, I rushed into the bathroom and slammed the door shut.Chapter 40 Third Person POV Time had passed so quickly, and now they were on their way to the Pack House. A few more minutes passed, and they arrived. The sky was dark, signaling that the night was already deep. Kaizer said that the daily time for dinner at the pack house was 8:30 p.m. When they entered the pack house, Minerva met her friend. “Alicia.” Alicia smiled when she saw that her friend was okay. Minerva was active again. If you didn’t know what happened to her, you wouldn’t know that she had just undergone heart surgery. Minerva hugged her, and Alicia hugged her back. “How are you?” Alicia asked. “Fine, I’m getting better,” Minerva answered while breaking the hug. Alicia’s smile widened. “That was good news.” “Alicia, my beautiful daughter-in-law.” Alicia looked at where the voice came from. She saw Kaizer’s mother walking toward them. She jumped right in front of Alicia and hugged her. “Melanie,” Alicia called her name. “It’s unfair. You call my husband Father
Chapter 39 Third Person POV “Father.” Kaizer called his father when he saw him standing in the spacious living room of the mansion. His back was facing them, but Kaizer knew it was his father because of his posture and the way he stood. He adored his father so much. His father was a man with power and integrity. He was smart and a good former Alpha of the pack. Although he was crazy when he was a young man, Kaizer admired his father and wanted to be like him. He wanted to be brave, strong, smart, and feared by everyone. So he did that. He became a strong Alpha with power and authority. Gradually, his father turned toward the two of them. He was in his mid-sixties, but he still looked like he was in his late forties. Thanks to their werewolf blood, their face and body aged more slowly. His father became the Alpha at the age of thirty-three. That was the time when his brother, the Alpha before him, died because of the pack war between their pack and the Moonlight Pack. Kaizer
Chapter 38 Third Person POV A few days had passed, and Minerva was completely healed, thanks to her werewolf healing speed ability. Alicia thought that she wished she were a werewolf too. She wanted to have abilities like them. It’s hard to live in their place if you’re a human. It’s hard to keep up with the lifestyle they have. Alicia let out a deep breath as she stared at the towering trees from the third-floor terrace of the mansion. She felt the cold air hit her face and sighed again. She had been here for three weeks, and her one-month vacation was coming to an end. Maybe she needed to forget the life she had in the place where she came from. She was happy here. She was happy with him. She felt a presence from behind her, but she did not turn around because she already knew who it was. Soon, someone hugged her from behind and laid his head on her shoulder. It was Kaizer, the man she loved. “A penny for your thoughts?” he softly asked her. Alicia held Kaizer’s hand on he
Chapter 37 Third Person POV Kaizer and Alicia ran toward Room 22 where Minerva was. Kaizer woke Alicia up when he received the news that her friend was awake. They never fully thought that Minerva would wake up immediately after the operation. They immediately opened the door when they got to the room. The happy faces of their friends were the first thing they saw as they opened the hospital room. From the bed, they saw a creature. It was not human, but a werewolf. Minerva shifted into her werewolf form when she regained her consciousness. And finally, she escaped from the witch’s curse. There was a brown wolf on the bed, Minerva’s wolf. Her strength returned, so she woke up just a few hours after her operation. Because she belonged to the family of Betas, she also had strength and speed in healing her wounds. Gradually, Minerva turned to the person who had saved her, her friend Alicia. She owed her life to her, so in return she would never leave her, and she would protect her
Chapter 36 Third Person POV There was a battle between them and the powerful sorcerer. In their situation now, the sorcerer was in doubt. Her body was full of green blood because of the wounds given by them. She was glaring at them all with anger. Her movements became faster and more aggressive. Until now, Alicia was still her target. It seemed that she had lost Minerva in her mind, even though she was really the compensation, not Alicia. Alicia also didn’t know why she was her target. She had nothing to do with this witch’s anger. She admitted that she was afraid of what was happening. Who wouldn’t be? Andrius and Leo held both hands of the sorcerer. They did not shift into their wolf forms to fight the witch. They could defeat her with their human forms. The sorcerer tried to free herself from their grasp, but they didn’t let her go. Callister went in front of the witch. “This is your biggest mistake.” After he said that, he broke the witch’s neck. But it didn’t end there, b
Chapter 35 Third Person POV “What’s your reason for doing this?” Minerva was afraid, but she told herself to be brave. She could not understand why this witch was so mad at her and at her parents. They heard the witch laugh out loud, and her eyes glazed over as she stared at Minerva. “I know that you know nothing of the sin your parents committed, but a sin will always be a sin.” Minerva was slightly taken aback by her response. What sin? She didn’t understand every single word the witch was saying. She knew her parents were innocent because they were so kind and generous. Minerva’s parents passed away when she was in college due to an accident. The car they were riding in crashed into a big tree, killing them instantly. She experienced pain and agony that day. Although it’s been a long time since that day happened, she still had pain in her heart and she missed her parents. She had not fully accepted that they were gone and that she would never be able to see them again. So
