Hi readers! I hope you're all keeping safe and well. I'd just like to explain to you all why I am only updating weekly at the moment. I am currently in my final year of a Masters degree and my research thesis takes up a huge portion of not only my time, but my writing energy. It's amazing how easily I can get 15,000 words down for this book that I'm enjoying writing so much, compared to how difficult it is to write my paper. I also work for the NHS (healthcare in the UK for any non UK readers), and with the pandemic, work is heavy with pressure at the moment. So, I hope you'll forgive me, but rest assured as soon as my thesis is out of the way, chapters will be updated more frequently - it will not take you 6 months to finish this book, promise.

All heads, including mine, turn in near unison as they walk by, eyes transfixed on the superior beings.
