“Ow,” I groan as my eyes flutter open. My stomach twists, and my guts are burning as if fire has been poured into them. There's this nasty sour taste of bile in my throat, and my head is throbbing with every faint sound around me.

For a moment, I don’t know where I am. I can't see clearly because my vision is a bit blurry.

But when it finally clears, I look around.

I'm in my room. The ceiling is spinning above me.

And I remember everything.
