Chapter four

Hannah POV

    what the hell is going on, why will I marry someone I don't know before and someone who is a werewolf, I just want to get out of here. when he moved closer to me, I could feel his breath on me and I want nothing more than to kiss him "be mine" he said

"I want to leave," I said too

"Hannah, I know all this seem sudden to you but my wolf can't wait any longer" he tries to convince

"I don't want to be any part of this, I don't know werewolves exist until yesterday"

"you would have understood if you are also a werewolf" he justified

"But I am not, maybe you should look for someone like you and let her become your mate"

"it's you that is made for me," he said more calmly

"I am here to talk about my company and not mate thing"

"you are my mate, Hannah"

"I am leaving and you are not going to come near me and my company" I threatened

"you shouldn't threaten a wolf"

"you let me no choice" I grabbed my bag that I don't know when I drop and exit the door. I started to look for Gabe wherever he was and that was when I bumped into his mother "ouch" I said holding my forehead

"my daughter, so sorry" she apologized

"I should be the one sorry, I didn't know where I was going"

"it's fine darling, are you leaving without saying goodbye to me," she said with a sad look

gosh, I just want to leave this place, Gabe, where the fuck are you "no," I replied instead

I can see she did not believe me but choose to ignore it "Come, dear, we have a lot to talk about," she told me and start dragging me toward a room

  when we entered the room, she sat me down on the bed "my son has been searching for you for almost two years now"

"why I don't know him before and he doesn't know me" how can you search for someone you don't know I wondered

"you see when his father hand over the pack to him, he needed his mate beside him else people will see him weak"

I don't know why she is telling me this because there is no way I am going to do this "I am human"

"that I don't understand but I know the moon goddess has her reason, I just want you to give him a chance to prove himself" she pleads with me

our world is different "it can never work out" I told her

"promise me my child that you will give it a chance" she pleads again

"I will try," I said so that she will stop pestering me over something that is not possible, I check my wristwatch "I need to get going unless I won't be able to make it to work today"

"why work when my son can provide you with everything you want" she teased

"I don't like depending on people," I told her getting up

"Alright, let me take you to where your friend is"

"thank you" I let out, I was finally getting out of this shit hole

She led me to where everyone is and you know what, the big alpha is here too "Gabe, can we go now" I hissed out

"sure" he answered getting up

"Are you going with him," Liam asked with a bit of jealousy in his voice

"of course he brought me here" I rolled my eyes at his dumb question

"I can take you" he suggested

I will have to love him to take me, at least I will be closer to him, I shook my head pushing the thought away, what the hell is wrong with my thoughts "nope, I am good with Gabe dropping me"

he sat down back with a frown and his knuckles turning white from too much folding

"let's go," Gabe said carefully

I nod and off we go to his car, he switched on the engine "you know you are hurting him and his wolf" he said all of a sudden

"how, I didn't do anything"

"you are rejecting him," he told me

"do you realize we aren't best friends again" I reminded him

"it's not about us, you are our Luna"

"I am not anything other than the CEO of my company"

"you might choose not to talk to me again but you can run away from this"

"Watch me," I said adamantly not knowing what I just signed in for

"so what does he say about the company"

"it's my company, it is none of his business" I almost yelled at him

"Stop being stubborn and difficult"

"if I annoy you that much, stop talking to me" I replied pissed up

"I know you are angry I kept it from you but how will you have felt if I told you I am a werewolf"

his question struck me, it's not like I can change him for he is was and I can't blame him for telling me but I was too arrogant to admit I was at fault "I don't care Gabe"

he stopped in front of my office and I alighted, slamming the door shut "I don't want to see you in my front again"

"you are angry I know, we will talk when you are calm"

"I don't want to talk to you"

"take care of yourself Hannah" he ignore what I said and drove off

Gabe POV

    I knew I fucked up not telling her who I was, she trusted me with everything and I couldn't trust her back, if my alpha know that I have hurt her, he is going to kill me.

   "How did you meet her," our alpha asked

I look around and saw she wasn't there, I left her with him "where is Hannah" I asked suspiciously

"she is with my mother" he replied "how did you meet her," he asked again

"We met in school, we both studied business"

"are you dating her," he asked

I know I have to choose my next word wisely else I will be dead in a twinkle of an eye "no, she was just a friend, that's all"

"Are you sure, why do you bring her here than even when you know she is a human"

"she needed my help, she wants to run away from home because her father wants her to marry a business associate"

"What" he growls scaring everyone in the room

"I don't have any other choice, I know no one will find her here," I said pitifully

"I don't want you around here anymore," he said possessively

"but alpha Liam" I tried to protest, I am the only person she knows here

"I don't want to hear anything, she is your Luna and I don't want unmarked male around her" he fired at me

"calm down son, I am sure Gabe is no threat" his father calm him down and this time Hannah walks in with his mother. they match each other I chuckled to myself "Gabe, can we go now," she asked me

"sure" I answered getting up

"Are you going with him," Liam asked with a bit of jealousy in his voice

"of course he brought me here" she rolled her eyes at him, she is lucky she is his mate, no one ever does that to him

"I can take you" he suggested

"Nope, I am good with Gabe dropping me" she answered shutting him off

"I don't care Gabe" she finally replied after a long pause

she slammed the door and walked away from me, I breathed out and drive off, I don't have a mate yet but I sure won't want her to be like Hannah, she is too bossy and kinky on what she put her mind on, I know our alpha can handle her.
