Chapter three

Hannah POV

    This morning I wasn't excited to stand up, everything that happened yesterday kept coming back to me, no wonder I hear howls at night and why the villagers refuse to converse with me, I was a stranger in their land. my phone vibrate on the bed stand and I picked it up, it was a message from Gabe telling me he will soon be here, I understand why he texted instead of calling because I refused to talk to him since yesterday, I drop my phone and went to prepare for the day.

    I was ready when I heard the doorbell, I knew it was Gabe, so I picked up my bag before going to meet him "let's go" I told him

"I am sorry I kept my identity from you, Hannah, it was for your good" he tried to reason with me

"can we just go and get it over with," I said again walking past him to where he packed his car

he gave up and finally drove us away, the path to where we are going is very scary you can see tall trees around "are you sure people live around here" I was beginning to fear for my life and of course I can't trust the guy beside me, he might be a kidnapper or something worst

"relax, we will soon be there" he assured

how can I relax when we kept going deeper into the forest, suddenly a beautiful house came into view "we are almost there" I heard Gabe said

when we got outside the house, children were outside playing while some adults are with them, they look up sensing my presence, and quickly pushed the children behind them as if I was a threat "it's unusual for them to see a human here" Gabe said touching my children

"that is one of the guys from yesterday" I pointed at a guy who sat outside

"that is our beta Eric," he said as we move closer to him "good morning beta" he greeted him

"Gabriel, long time....." he paused when he saw me "you know her"

"everything is technically my fault, we are here to see the alpha"

this Eric guy seems amused by the whole situation "I will take you to him and trust me he will be having your head but thank God, she is his mate"

"what" he exclaimed "she is our Luna" he half yelled

"fuck, my mouth" he clamps his mouth shut "he is inside" he shows us a door

"you should be in here with us," Gabe said fearfully

"trust me I will but I need to get his father here in case" he explained and Gabe nodded his head understanding his unsaid words

The door open from I side as the guy came sniffing the air, "what are you doing here and why do you smell of him" he asked giving Gabe a death glare

Gabe lower his head quickly "I did not know, alpha and I didn't touch her" he quickly told him

Liam POV

       My mate smell came to me again, I push it away that I must have been imagining it and also my wolf miss her, just then the smell came to me harder this time and I know I haven't imagined her, I open the door to my office and there she was standing beside a guy and then I sniff the air again and I see she smell of him too "what are you doing here and why do you smell of him" I roared out

the boy quickly lower his head in fear and respect and quickly defended himself, I was happy seeing my mate here but I wasn't going to show that "who did you think you are" my mate asked me almost angrily

"Hannah, you can't talk to our alpha in such manner" he cautioned her

If it was someone else, I will have punched them but her anger was only turning me on "are you here to insult my love" I smirked  "at least enter first" I move out of the way and let them enter my office

"alpha, it is all my fault, I wasn't thinking when I brought her here" Gabriel apologized

"you brought a human to my territory, how bold of you"

"she is my best friend and she needed my help"

"Why are you both talking about me as if I am not sitting right here," he asked interrupting us  "so I get it, this is a werewolves town and I need permission from the alpha which you happened to be"

my mouth was wide open by the time she was done, did she know about us "how did you know about werewolves"

"I told her" Gabe replied

I growl at him angrily "you did what, you are risking the life of my people because of her"

"she is not a threat I promise"

"How can you be sure of that"

"she is my friend and I just found out she is our Luna," he said and at that moment I become calm

"what's Luna," she asked "can we talk about why I am here," she asked

I felt sad knowing she doesn't know know how important she is here especially to me

"calm down love and tell me why you are here"

"my name is Hannah not love" she yelled at me

at last, I finally know my mate name "okay love" I choose to ignore her correction "are you leaving my territory already" I felt sad saying those words because I know I will never let her leave

"I am not going anywhere, that is my company and you don't have a say over it" Gabe tries to caution her "stay out of this Gabe, you may dear him but I don't" he screamed at him

"that is where you are very wrong darling, it is your company but it's my land and I have a say over my land"

"what do you want, money?" she asked giving up when she see I won't change my mind

"what can you offer me" I sneered

"you can't understand but that company is everything to me" she reasoned

"hmmm" feeling proud of myself "marry me and you get to keep your company"

"are you out of your mind" she raises her eyes at me

"Nope, I am in my right sane" I replied with a smile

"What then makes you think I will marry you especially one who can turn into some sort of animal"

"because you are my mate," I said "you are mated to me"

she was about to answer me when the door to my office open, my family entered with Eric who was looking all quickly "it's not my fault, I went to get your father but they insisted they want to meet her too" he quickly explained

"Is this her," my sister asked checking her out "she is beautiful"

"Stop checking my mate out, wait till you are sixteen and then you can find yours"

"don't be jealous of your sister" my mother slap the back of my head and then face her "don't mind our intrusion but I am this guy mother" she points at me

"father, control your wife" I begged as I looked up at my confused mate who seems lost

"she is your mother too" he backed out

I don't know why but he always seems scared of his mother, he was the former alpha and u know how strong he was but at the sight of my father, he will change "oh mother please stop"

"I just want to get to know my son mate" she replied innocently

"you will do that later but I still need to talk to her" I practically begged

"Okay but you must bring her to me when you are done"

"I will," I said as I finally succeeded in getting rid of her and my sister

"Eric was scared you are going to kill someone, that is why he came to get me" my father explained

"he should not have disturbed you"

"your mate came in here with another male and you want me to just stand still," Eric said

"I didn't do anything, we are just talking"

"Sir, can you please help me talk to your son here," my mate said facing my father

"I am sorry dear but I can't interfere in two mates matter," he said "let's give the two of them privacy"

my mate looks at Gabe pleading with her eyes not to leave her alone with me, I was angry she wants another guy instead of me "you do realize he is a werewolf too" I asked immediately they were gone

she shifted back when she noticed how closed I am to her "I am never going to marry you, Liam"

she remembers my name and I love the way they sounded coming out of her mouth "you don't have a choice, very soon you will be missing me and you will only want to be closer to me"

"in your dreams big guy"

"I am not joking, you are my mate, Hannah"

"I am not, I just want you to leave me and my company alone in peace"

"you see I can't do that, I have been searching all over for you all these years, I can't just let you go after finally finding you"

"mate is not something I have power over and I know you feel the connection between the both of us" I touch her hands and I know I was going to be needing another cold shower.
