Chapter five

Liam POV

    I was angry she left with that guy instead of allowing me to go drop her, Eric came to me and told me that there is a problem at the border as one of the warriors alerted him

I quickly got on my feet and ran outside, I shifted into my brown wolf immediately after I got into the forest with Eric trailing behind me, he had also changed into his wolf. as we got closer to the border, I changed back into a human and pick some clothes we do normally hid around in case of emergency "Andrew, what is going on here" I ask my head warrior

"I don't mean to disturb me but we caught someone at the border," he said

no one dares enter my territory because they know how ruthless I can be "she is a rogue, she claimed to be running away from her back"

"mate," Eric said all of a sudden catching all of us by surprise

In a jiffy, he was pinning someone down by his throat "how dare you to touch and hurt my mate" he punched

some guys surrounds him as they were trying to get him away "Eric, enough" I use my alpha tone on him and he stopped immediately

"I am sorry, I didn't know" the poor guy tries to explain, he was bruised on his face

"Sorry won't change a damn thing" he screamed back at him before going to meet the stranger

"Eric, I know she is your mate but she still needs to be questioned on what she is doing on my territory," I said reminding him of the policy

"I understand alpha" he lowly replied

"you can take her to my office" I know he won't let anyone touch her except for himself, I watch as the lady lets him lead her away and I feel jealous, why can't my mate be like that.

"What is your name," I asked immediately we got into my office

"Ariana," she said solemnly

Eric came in with a glass of water in his hand and pass it to her, I roll my eyes in my head as he was already acting as if he knows her already "so brought you here"

"I swear I didn't know this was your land, I ran away from mine and found myself here"

"what the name of your pack"  I have to ask because I can't risk bringing danger to my people especially if I don't know what she did in her former pack

"blue moon" she answered facing down

"that's alpha Tyler pack," Eric said

"what did you do," I asked curiously

"I did not do anything after his first chosen mate ran away, he choose me and he has been torturing me since then" she cried

"I told you that he is a psychopath," Eric said, he has always hated him since his father gave him the pack "I am going to kill him for dreaming of making my mate his" he barked angrily

"Ariana, your mate will show you to where you can clean up" both of them need some bonding time since they just find each other"

"thank you Alpha"

"Eric, bring her back later," I told him with seriousness

"I will" he replied and they leave.

Accepting Ariana into my pack is going to bring war from his pack but I Pam not going to seat watch and see him claim someone else mates especially my beta mate.

my father came into my office "are you okay son" he asked worriedly

"Eric found his mate," I told him the good news

"I heard but why are you not looking happy, is it because of your mate"

"no father, I know my mate won't be able to deny the mate pull forever but it's about Eric mate"

"what about Eric mate, hold on, are you falling for her" he exclaimed

"gross father, no, Tyler wants her as his chosen mate since he can't find his own"

"Are you serious about this"

"yes, at least according to what she told me"

"How did Eric take this information"

"he was angry, but how can someone be so cruel by forcing someone else to be his mate"

"I don't know son, but this means war"

"that is exactly what got me worried"

"Everything will be alright" he assured me patting my shoulder

"I hope so" I replied

Eric POV

   My wolf has been restless today, I thought maybe because he is happy about our alpha finding his mate "what is wrong with you" I asked him

he did not give his reply to me and choose to keep all the excitement to him "thought we are one"

"no one asks you to be the dullard one" he gave me his sassy reply

something I wonder why I get a wolf-like him "beta" someone was trying to reach me through our mind link

"who is it," I asked

"it's me, Andrew, there is a problem at the East border" he informed

shit, a problem at the border, this isn't good at all "I will get the alpha and we will be there now"

"okay beta" he replied and then cut me off

I went to look for Liam in his office and quickly tell him about the situation, we ran to the border only to find out our warrior had captured a trespasser and she happens to be my mate. I was angry by the way she was being treated and immediately I pinned down the guy that was holding her roughly, Liam was able to separate us after using his alpha voice on me, he then orders that I bring her to his office.

"Ariana" I heard her say as u open the door with a glass of water in my hand, the name itself is melodious to my ears

Liam started asking her some questions and I was angry at what she has been through in the hands of that crazy Alpha.

   After the alpha release her to go, I took her to my room, I don't want any other unmated wolf to be gawking at what is mine "stay here while I get h you some neat clothes" I said to her

"wait" she abruptly said which make me turn to her immediately

"is anything the matter"

"I understand if you don't want someone like me as your mate but you can't let me go back there" she begged

she is my mate for goddamn sake, why won't I want her "what made you think I will not want you, I fell in love with you the moment I saw you" I said sincerely

"that is your wolf, I know someone handsome like you won't be a broken lady like me" she explains further

I blushed at her compliment "you are not broken, Ariana, if you are, you won't be able to get away from your former pack, you are still a strong lady"

I wasn't expecting when she threw herself at me and hug me tightly  "I am sorry" she apologized again

I understand she feels little of herself, but to me she is everything and I won't let someone take her away from "there is nothing to be sorry for, you are mine and mine alone" I hold her possessively In our embrace "now, let me get you clothes, I don't want you shivering later"

she smiled shyly as she move back from me which caused me to chuckle "okay" she replied

I left her on my bed and quickly went to Clara room, she must be the same as her as they both have a small figure "Clara" I called out from the door

"you can come inside" she replied and I entered "to what do I own this visit" she rants on

"I need to borrow some of your clothes for my mate," I told her

she jumped up from her bed "you found your mate too, I am happy for you, can I meet her too"

"you will not now, she need to change and eat and then you can meet her"

"is she the rogue from the border," she asked with a grin on her face

"she is not a rogue Clara, she is my mate" I declared

"no need to get your pants twisted, I will get you the clothes now" she replied and then walked towards her closet.

After a while, she came back with some clothes in her hand "take this, some will enter her if not all" she said

"thank you Clara" I replied as I quickly take the clothes from her land dash back to my room.

on my way, my wolf breaks through our barrier "now you see why I was happy"

"you knew she was here" I exclaimed

"I could feel her presence and I knew she was close by"

"you should have informed me and I will have gotten there sooner"

"and spoil the whole fun when you saw her" my stupid wolf replied

"I am not stupid" came his reply

I blocked him away as I open the door to my room.
