Hidden Care

Author: Stella YX
(Aria's POV)

The sterile scent of the pack medical cabinet filled my nostrils as Dr. Reed carefully placed several vials of wolfsbane-enhanced medication on the desk between us. My fingers trembled slightly as I reached for them, the glass cool against my skin.

"These should help manage your symptoms for the next few weeks," Dr. Reed explained, his voice clinical but gentle. "The enhanced wolfsbane properties will strengthen your heart temporarily."

I nodded, trying not to think about how many "next few weeks" I had left. My hands moved automatically to my small pack pouch, searching for silver coins.

"How much do I owe you?" I asked, keeping my voice steady.

Dr. Reed shook his head firmly. "Nothing. These are just basic healing herbs."

I frowned, recognizing the distinctive purple sheen of the liquid. These weren't basic herbs—they were specialized wolfsbane-enhanced medications, rare and undoubtedly expensive.

"Dr. Reed, I know what specialized pack medicine costs. I can't acc

  • The Alpha King Begged His Omega to Come Back   A Promise of Revenge

(Sarah's POV)My hands trembled as I stared at Aria's unconscious form. Silver burns marred her beautiful face, evidence of Whitney Stone's cruelty. My beta wolf paced restlessly beneath my skin, demanding retribution."I need Whitney Stone's address," I repeated, my voice hardening. "Someone has to make her pay for what she did to Aria."Dr. Reed looked up from adjusting the healing crystals, his expression shifting from professional concern to something deeper—almost personal."Miss Rivers," he said carefully, "I understand your anger. But rushing after Whitney Stone would be... inadvisable.""Inadvisable?" I nearly spat the word. "She poisoned my friend with silver! She could have killed her!"My beta presence flared uncontrollably, making the healing instruments nearby rattle. Dr. Reed didn't flinch, his experienced pack healer demeanor remaining calm despite my emotional outburst."Whitney Stone is the daughter of the Stone Pack Alpha," he explained, his voice deliberately

  • The Alpha King Begged His Omega to Come Back   A Cruel Discovery

(Sarah's POV)The unease had been building in my chest all afternoon. Something felt wrong through my pack bonds - a persistent tension that wouldn't release. I paced my small apartment, phone in hand, trying Aria's number for what felt like the hundredth time."Come on, pick up," I muttered, my beta wolf growing increasingly restless. No answer. Again.I grabbed my jacket and keys. This wasn't like Aria. Even with her heart condition, she always answered my calls, or at least messaged back quickly. My instincts screamed that something was terribly wrong. The drive to Aria's apartment passed in a blur. I parked haphazardly, not caring if I got a pack violation notice. My hands trembled as I fumbled with her spare key.Just as I pushed open her door, my phone vibrated. Aria's name flashed on the screen. Relief flooded through me as I answered."Aria! Thank the moon you called back. I've been worried sick—""Hello? This is Dr. Marcus Reed."My blood turned cold. A man's voice fr

  • The Alpha King Begged His Omega to Come Back   Between Life and Death

(Aria's POV)The world around me was nothing but thick, silver-tinted fog. I couldn't feel my body anymore, just a strange weightlessness as I drifted through the mist. Was this death? Had my heart finally given out?I felt oddly calm. The pain that had been my constant companion for so long was gone. No more burning in my chest, no more struggling for each breath. Just... peace.Something pulled at me from behind—a distant voice calling my name."Aria! Aria, please!"Sarah's voice. Desperate. Terrified.I turned toward the sound, seeing nothing but swirling silver fog. Then I spotted her—Sarah, running toward me, her beta presence flickering with panic."Aria, don't go," she cried, reaching for me with outstretched hands. "Come back, I still have so much to say to you..."I tried to answer, to tell her it was okay, that the pain was finally gone. But my wolf couldn't make a sound. My mouth moved, but silence was all that came out.Sarah's face contorted with desperation. "Ple

My body felt weightless for a moment before I crashed hard against the wall.Blood filled my mouth. My vision blurred, the room spinning around me. Through the haze, I could make out Whitney's satisfied smirk."Well done, Alpha Silverstone," she purred, her beta voice dripping with triumph. "That's exactly what this disrespectful omega deserves."I tried to push myself up, but my arms gave way beneath me. The silver essence from Derek's strike burned through my system like fire, amplifying the pain from my already failing heart.Whitney stepped closer, extending a silver-cleansing cloth to Derek. Her eyes gleamed with malicious pleasure."Dirty..." she remarked, glancing at his hand that bore traces of my blood.Derek took the cloth, methodically wiping away the evidence of our contact. His movements were precise, controlled. His ice-blue eyes flicker

(Derek's POV)The treatment room fell silent as I issued my command. My alpha presence filled every corner, pressing against the walls with barely contained fury. Yet Whitney Stone remained defiant, her eyes narrowing as she ignored my order."No," she snarled, her beta presence flaring. "This omega needs to learn her place!"Before I could react, Whitney lunged forward, her enhanced claws extended toward Aria's already battered face. The attack happened too quickly - even for my reflexes.Aria's weakened legs gave way as she stumbled backward, attempting to evade Whitney's strike. The scent hit my nostrils - her blood carrying that unique omega sweetness now tainted with silver poison. My carefully maintained control slipped. I co

  • The Alpha King Begged His Omega to Come Back   A Silver's Bite

My vision blurred as they finally released their grip on my head, allowing me to pull back from the basin. For a moment, there was only the sound of my desperate gasping. Then my chest constricted violently.I doubled over, my body convulsing as I started to cough. Pink, frothy liquid spewed from my mouth, splattering onto the restroom floor. It wasn't just water – the foam had a disturbing metallic sheen to it, the silver essence mixing with something from deep within my body. One of the guards stepped back, his eyes widening. "Miss Stone, I think she's coughing up blood..."Whitney's satisfied expression wavered momentarily. More silver-tinted foam spilled from my lips, cre
