Lucius’s POV

“Are you sure we are heading in the right direction?” I asked Monique for the third time since we have been on the road.

I noticed that we had been going around the same places for close to two hours now and she just sat there with a smug look on her face, watching me as I drove as if I was a new show in a cinema.

“Monique? Didn’t you hear me?” I asked, throwing a glance in her direction. She was now sitting with her legs spread apart and the skirt barely visible anymore.

“Hmmm, yeah… yes, of course… just keep going…” she said, waving her hand to the screen while her eyes remained on me.

My wolf twisted with disgust at her position. If she couldn’t sit properly, she shouldn’t have worn such an absurd outfit. I wanted to reprimand her to adjust herself, but I decided to ignore it. She was not my responsibility.
