Chapter 119: Is this the End?

Diane’s POV

As soon as Liam stepped out of the room, I saw it as my opportunity to escape from his room. I returned my shirt to their position and moved out at once. I still remembered the route we had taken while coming, so I traced it back to my room.

I was about to take the final bend when I heard a deafening growl from a room on my right. The blood within my body froze and panic started drumming through my skin.

They said anyone who knew could be rescued, so I let my curiosity lead me to the side of the wall where I could get a good angle to see what was happening in that room.

“No!” the roar echoed out of the room once again. “Keith can’t die like that!” he screamed again, and I watched as Liam held his head and dropped to the ground with tears in his eyes.

“My lord, I saw the body with my two eyes. Lucius had made sure there would be no regeneration for him. He is dead-” a man covered in a hood was saying.
