Chapter 115: Answers from the Past

Lucius’s POV

With Keith dead, I left the captain of my soldiers and Kasper in charge, and I took one of the cars back to the human city to get the answers I needed.

There was still a lot to be done, but I knew that I could trust my men to do a very good job of clearing everything and sorting what needed to be sorted.

As I drove, my eyes were fixed on the road, but my heart ached for Diane. She was going to be broken when she found out about her grandfather but more than that, I needed to get her before Liam decided to do something crazy.

Each moment I spent in that vehicle increased the number of questions rolling through my head and by the time I got to Bucks quarters, I practically jumped out of the moving vehicle.

Lucas who had already been notified was standing at the entrance waiting for me and the moment he saw me, he ran towards me and hugged me. A rare moment where we shared our bond as brothers and as much as I wanted to just push him away and proceed inside, I could understa
