"He's supposed to be old and bedridden?!" Vivian yelled. She didn't remember when she saw him for the first time in the courtroom. No woman would be in her right senses, hearing a man and her so-called groom calling her a sex toy.

"And you believed it," Karl replied, raising his eyebrows. He would have told her back in the forest but he thought it would be more fun when she realized that the rumors were wrong.
