Chapter 1

I fell asleep during most of the ride. I'm not sure how much longer we have to go and I'm kinda too nervous to ask.

"Just ask Brinley and stop being a baby". Sage pushed. I roll my eyes

"What if they were giving orders not to talk to me? I don't want them in trouble because of me". I exclaimed.

"True but just try". Sage encouraged. I sighed.

"Fine". Sage smirked.

"Um, Beta Kyle?". I say shyly.

"Yes?".

"How much longer until we get there?". I ask biting my lip I do that a lot when I'm nervous I'm also a shy person I like to stick to myself as much as I can at least.

"We are actually here". Said Beta Kyle. His voice was rough yet soft. I nod.

I look out the window as we pass through the pack town. It's huge. OMG they have a Starbucks yes.

"You and your damn coffee". Sage shakes her head. I frowned.

"There is nothing wrong with Coffee". Without it I get Bitchy remember. I pointed out.

"Oh believe me I know". And with that she blocks me. I shrug oh well.

After another twenty minutes we pull up to this mansion. Wow, I thought it was beautiful.

"I hope we get to stay". Sage chirped. I nodded in agreement.

"Don't get your hopes up though". I remind her. She nodded her wolf head.

Once the car came to a stop Kyle opened my door for me. I muttered. A thank you and stepped out of the Suv. The second I stepped out I smelled the most amazing Intoxicating smell. It smelled of woods and honey. Sage started stirring and scratching at my mind for me to give her control.

"Brinley?". Beta Kyle said with a confused look on his face. I wave it off.

"What happens now?". I say. I can hardly think straight. all I can focus on is that wonderful smell.

"Here put this on ". Beta Kyle said as he handed me a blind fold. I frowned. With a dumbfounded look on my face. Kyle chuckled. I arched my brow.

"What's this for?".

"The Alpha King has mindlink me saying that you will be sent to be A Slave, Slaves wear blindfolds and a uniform which Mrs Bates will give you and bring you up to date on what you will do". Beta Kyle stated like it was the most obvious thing in the world. My mouth dropped open.

"Better close that you might catch a fly". Beta Kyle chuckled. I huffed.

"I thought I had to meet the King?". I say as I slip the blind fold on. Beta Kyle clears his throat.

"He said he doesn't want to meet you. It's odd but Alphas orders so to Mrs Bates". Kyle said whilst holding my arm and leading through the door.

The moment he led me through the door that intoxicating smell grew stronger making Sage go crazy fighting me for control.

"Calm down Sage". I urge her.

"Go to Mate". Sage growled. I gasped

"What?". She nods.

"We have gotten a second chance that doesn't happen often". Sage said jumping up and down.

"How do you know?". I ask. She smirks

"Because I do now go to Mate". I let out a sigh. But decided to go with Sages urges and find our mate.

Kyle's grasps on my arm was tight. Think Brinley think.

I let out a loud Growl it shocked Kyle enough that he let go of my arm. Taking my opportunity whilst I could I remove the Blind fold and followed the scent.

Running up the stairs I heard Beta Kyle growl And I knew it wouldn't be long till he caught me. I followed the scent to the fourth floor as I ran down the hallway and the scent got stronger. Once I reached the end Infront of a solid Black door the scent was so strong I knew Mate was in there.

"Go to Mate". Sage pushed. I nodded.

I let out a shaky breath and opened the door Just as it Cracked open I ran back down the hall as fast I could I didn't stop until I ran into Kyle. 

"What are you doing? Go to mate!". Sage pleaded.

"I'm sorry I can't, I can't go through rejection again Sage". I sniffled.  She stayed silent feeling my pain.

"What the hell do you think you're doing". Beta Kyle shouted. I put my head down in shame. I surely can't tell Kyle.

"For that little Incident, you get a week of solitude". He growled. He put my blindfold back on and took Me to what I'm assuming is the basement.  I was thrown in a cell once the sounds of their footprints became nonexistent. I let out a breath.
