Bethel came back to our table and sat down, her lips tugged up in a smile and I raised my eyebrows at her.
What had made her so happy? "Why do you look so happy? What's the catch?"
She chuckled softly and sipped on the glass of martini she grabbed from the waiter's tray.
"We might be blessed with the presence of Alfredo Garcia tonight. He rarely attends such gatherings."
A typical rich man.
Why would he waste his time with his employees when he could be at his house or a more important party.
Rich humans would always act like one. Not just humans. It also happens in the supernatural world.
There are always the ones that are superior and would always show that to others with words or action.
