~Alana~
“Good afternoon, Mister Valmore.”Putting a hand on her chest, Alana found herself squeezing near where it throbbed. Seeing Mister Valmore walk away from her ached, and for whatever reason, it was beyond her grasp. She maintained her head down, trying to soothe her discomfort.
Alana observed how their General Manager had left his post to accommodate the valued guests. From a distance, she could hear them exchanging words.
“Yes!”
“Yes, anything!”
“Absolutely, Mister Valmore. Anything you ask.”
Alana could hear Patrick, her boss, confirm whatever request Mister Valmore had in mind, but she dared not look their way again.
Strangely though, she could feel eyes on her, as if they were burning through her slender frame. Still, she ignored her senses, merely wanting to get this arrival ceremony over and done with.
Not a moment too soon, she heard footsteps fading against the marbled floor and it made her look up, knowing that Mister Valmore’s party had probably taken the lift, up to their designated suites.
“Alana! Alana!” The General Manager said, calling with his hand and urging her to come forward. “Come here!”
Bemused, Alana’s brows met. She peered from side to side as if confirming it was her name that was being hailed. She lazily strolled in the direction of Patrick and asked, “Yes, Patrick?”
“Mister Valmore had personally asked, that instead of John, you will be attending to their daily needs here at Bay City,” the manager revealed with excitement in his eyes.
“Wha - What?” She clarified, completely dumbfounded.
“You impressed him and so he requested the change. It means you will be his personal go-to girl while he is in Bay City - Go! Go up to his suite and leave your other tasks!” He ordered while pointing to the way of the elevators.
“Mmmmeee?” She made sure she understood him right, still absolutely in disbelief.
“Yes, you! Now go!” Her manager echoed, pressing her to pick up her pace and follow the group of esteemed men to their suites.
Just when she had already soothed her heart, it was fluttering again at the thought of being near one very intimidating, yet sensual-looking, Mister Alric Valmore.
‘Damn.’
***
Alana could not wrap her head around it. She recalled how Mister Valmore’s assistant specifically requested to have a male attendant, and not a girl.
‘Impressed by me? Didn’t he just ignore me a few minutes back?’ These were the words that lingered in her thoughts.
Sure, she was in charge of carrying out everything, designating the staff, and making sure that all of Mister Valmore’s needs will be attended to, but to personally be his point of contact at the property and guide within the city? She absolutely did not see that coming.
It had been more than fifteen minutes since Alana found herself pacing back and forth, right at the elevator exit on the fiftieth floor. It was the same location as Mister Valmore’s Presidential Suite. She knew she had to get there soon, but she sure took all the time she needed.
Alana was overly anxious. There was just something about that man - his amber eyes that made her feel uncomfortable.
She scratched her head. Her tantalizing blue eyes beamed when she admitted, “I am overly thinking this.”
She contemplated on how to act around him, especially since, she was evidently attracted to him. It was like a pull, a force that she could not describe. Just by looking into his shadow, she was instantaneously drawn to him.
“Miss Hope, there you are,” said a man with short auburn hair, his hazel eyes oddly amused by her. “My name is Dean, I am our Alph - I mean, I am Mister Valmore’s right hand.”
“Hi,” she faintly answered, taken aback by his sudden presence.
“Mister Valmore would like to speak to you now. He has... special instructions to see you... privately,” he added, and it was with the way his lips curved up at the end of his statement that Alana thought, she was in for a surprise.
Her brows raised unwittingly as she echoed, “Privately? You mean, just him and me?”
The handsome man named Dean chuckled, and he showed off the dimple on his right cheek as he answered, “Yes, you and him. There is no way around it, I’m afraid. Don’t worry, he doesn’t bite.”
“Haha! Bite. I’m so good at making jokes,” Dean laughed at his own remark, leaving Alana into deeper bewilderment.
‘Why in the world did he want to speak to me in private?’ Bringing herself back to her current predicament, she asked in silence, but she dared not speak it. Instead, she nodded and followed Dean’s lead, making her way to the presidential suite.
Pointing with his entire arm, Dean gestured for Alana to enter the room. He smirked and declared, “I wish you... good luck, Miss Hope.”
Her eyeballs were about to pop out of her eyes, and her mouth fell agape. ‘What did that even mean? Good luck?’
“What the - “ Before she could ask, a force seemed to have pushed her inside the door. No, it wasn’t spiritual or anything, but Dean’s large hand. ‘Damn, he was strong!’
Her body was no match to his mere hand.
As soon as she regained her balance, she heard the door behind her shut tight and she gulped.
The suite was dimmed, and for whatever purpose, she was clueless. In each step she took along the entrance hallway, she inhaled profoundly, the beating of her heart loudening by the second.
When she made her way to the living room, she found no one. Of course, the luxurious and chic pieces of furniture were there, but there was no sign… of the sexy man.
“Mister Valmore?” Forcing a smile, she made herself known, “Alana Hope at your service.”
It was in her personality and job to be amiable. Thus, she did just that as she skimmed the accommodation in search of their valued guest. “Mister Valmore?”
“Inside the bedroom.” An audible, manly, and seductive voice came through, sending chills down Alana’s spine.
‘In the bedroom?’ As her heart remain to race, she pursed her lips, thinking, ‘Did he want me to go inside the bedroom?’
Dirty thoughts of him easily clouded her head. While she found it inappropriate, something in her wanted to see the muscles beneath his expensive suit. What were the chances that he was changing? Or bare?
Before she could decide in following that provocative voice, the door to the bedroom creaked open, and she found Alric Valmore walking out, nearly half-naked, his wavy hair falling down to his wide shoulders.
It was obvious to her that he was freshly bathed. His body glowed in moisture, and his hair had not dried properly.
He had a new shirt on, but not a single stud was buttoned up. It was as if, that part of his body was on display… for her. ‘Damn.’
Alana swallowed air down her throat at the sight of this carnal-looking man. She found herself wiping the corner of her lips, instinctively removing any potential drool that had escaped her rims. ‘What the hell! What did I just do?’
“It took you... long enough,” Alric said to her, and she shook her head, forcing herself to stay focused - focus on her job and not the man before her. ‘Dammit!’
‘Um... I was - I was - “ Her lines seemed to be caught in her throat, observing how Mister Valmore had walked slowly towards her, in the most dangerously appealing way.
The man’s eyes narrowed as he continued with his restrained assault. He asked, “You were? Thinking of me?”
Her jaws dropped on the floor. Maybe even to the parking lot area of the hotel, fifty stories down, shocked by the recommendation of Alric. She stuttered in her reply, “Me? Thinking of you? Wwwhhhyyy?”
He inched even closer, his eyes nearly shut as he asked in his raspy voice, “Why - the - hell - not?”
Alana had not realized in which direction she had stepped back in, but her back wound up leaning against a wall while she struggled to catch her breath.
She froze in her stance, listening to her wild heart! It was beating so fast, she felt it was ready to leap out of her chest.
Her mind was telling her to run away, push him, stop whatever it was he was planning to do, but her body acted against it. With every gap the man closed in on, her chest raised dramatically as she took heavy gasps.
Mister Valmore’s arms, trapped her on each side and Alana could only stare back at his intense amber eyes. From those beguiling orbs, her gaze fell upon the scar across his right brow before she moved on to study his chiseled face.
Alana felt the heat around them and recognized the butterflies in her stomach.
There was no helping it. There was no point in denying how she was so fascinated by him. Thus, she braced herself.
She prepared for what was about to come.
She accepted this stranger’s advances.
Heck, why the hell not? He was hot, and she swore she felt tingles way down there, right in between her thighs.
Her eyes turned dreamy, catching how Alric’s head was moving down, seemingly acting to savor her rims. She bit her lips, even licked it unwittingly, but what happened next was not exactly... what she had expected.
Mister Alric Valmore... smelled her!
He was smelling her with passion, she felt her very soul was sucked out of her.
From the slopes of her neck, he took a whiff at her. The tip of his nose idled on her hair, resuming to luxuriate in whatever it was that captivated his senses.
‘Oh, my.’ Alana was panting at that point, trying to control her own urges, following Alric’s racy sniffing. She wondered, ‘Could it be my new perfume?’
Either way, she was glad the silly perfume commercial convinced her to buy a bottle because right now, a hot, masculine CEO was sniffing her madly!
‘Wow,’ she thought. She had to admit it. Even with the way he inhaled at her, the way his eyes closed and his chest raised each and every time, it was so damn inviting that she lost whatever reason that was left in her.
‘Gosh.’ No one ever warned her. No. She did not get the memo. Evidently, sniffing was the new sexy thing!
At his next whiff, she gasped and bit her lip. Her face turned crimson red and a soft moan escaped her rims. “Aah...”
~Alana~ Alana was in dreamland. Here she was, pinned against the wall by a handsome CEO, his arms protectively holding her. With the way Alric Valmore was whiffing the life out of her, she easily drowned in dirty thoughts of him. It was shameful to admit, but she could not help the attraction she had for this man. Her body acted on its own and her hands moved up to his chest as if they were holding him back, but in truth, she was enjoying the hardness of his sculpture. “Mister - Sir -” Her assertions were stuck in her throat. Her eyes fluttered to the sensation of the man’s warm breath against her skin. “Oh, dear...” “You smell so sweet… so divine,” she heard him say while he brushed his finger gently against the side of her face. With all the tension building up between them, Alana recognized the dampness in between her thighs that she clamped them together, holding back the irresistible arou
~Alric~ “But werew -“ Alric stopped himself, recalling how this girl had no idea of her own true nature. All the more, she did not have her wolf, another mystery to her he had to solve. ‘She doesn’t remember? And all because she met an accident?’ Alric was in doubt, but he also discerned her sincerity. He gulped his theories down his throat and further tightened his hold around Alana. He maintained to savor the surrounding air, pressing his lips on her head. Alric recognized, perhaps, there was some truth to what she said. Since she had no wolf, she could not heal the same way as he did or any regular werewolves. She could not be a late bloomer, though. As far as he knew, Alana should already be twenty-six by now. Back in The Port of Valmore, the largest territory within their name, they had late bloomers who shifted after they turned eighteen. Alana, however, was a different story. If only they were together then, h
~Alana~ Patrick, Alana’s manager, was in doubt. Alric Valmore allowed her to leave when he had earlier named Alana to be their aide while in the city. Thankfully, the powerful CEO confirmed his approval, but the odd thing was, he did not allow John to relieve her for that afternoon either. Still, Alana’s working hours were nearly done, and she deserved time off, anyway. More than just being worn out during the days prior to Alric’s arrival, she utterly had to think things thoroughly. ‘Is Alric really Kai’s father?’ She pondered while walking into a grocery store located close to her neighborhood. She was still in her uniform. Her mini-skirt displayed her slender legs and her vest hugged her frame superbly. Alana knew it would be for another two hours before Kai would arrive home, and since she needed the time to think, she made it a point to walk around. What better way to walk around than buying groceries at the same
~Alana~ Inserting the key in, Alana’s hands were shaking. “Darn!” The memory of Claire and Lilith belittling her still remained in her thoughts that her face was still red in exasperation. Alana was standing on her porch, trying to open her front door, and had been for five minutes since she arrived. When she dropped the set of keys, she bent over and carelessly attempted to open the door once more. It did not open. Her blood was rising, so she shook the doorknob vigorously, and alas, she broke it with ease. Alana’s mouth fell agape, and she took the deepest breath for that day. “Great. I guess my day is getting more exciting by the hour.” “Mommy!” She turned to find her son, being escorted by her neighbor, Aiden. “What are you doing here so early?” “Good afternoon, Alana. Didn’t expect to find you here at this time,” Aiden said, his smile was from ear to ear when he offered, “How about... we have d
~Alana~ “Mom, what’s my daddy like?” Kai inquired while his amber orbs sparkled to near bright gold. His lips thinned as they curved up, unable to hide his excitement. Alana was tucking Kai into bed. She sat on one side, pulling the blanket up to his torso. She beamed at her son’s curiosity and replied cautiously, “Well, Kai... I - I have yet to know your father.” Slightly throwing her head back, she blinked, and her mind wandered to her very remarkable afternoon. She blushed at the thought of Alric and she flushed while describing him, “But, physically, he is a tall and muscular man. He is a businessman from Eastern Dhuran.” “Is he as handsome as me, mom?” Kai asked, chuckling. A giggle escaped Alana’s lips. Her striking blue eyes glinted as she revealed, “Yes, he is very handsome. In fact, you resemble him very much.” “Mom, why is your face so red?” Kai probed, making Alana feel her cheeks with her fingers. “Do y
~Alric~ “Max,” Alric greeted, his chin up and his eyes intensely peering at his Gamma. His colossal figure, shadowing against the dusk, his walk wielding like always. “Alpha,” Max replied, lowering his head. “You did not have - “ “I have to!” Taking a deep breath, his gaze landed on the second floor of the small home, and he resumed his words, “I had to know for myself.” Seeing how Max nodded, the great Alpha probed, “What is the best entry to the rooms? Up the tree? Climb at the back?” He was ready to put his muscles into good use, ready to climb like a Romeo would for his Juliet, and then Max replied, “Alpha Alric, the front door is open. You can enter there.” “What?” He snapped, snarling at his Gamma. “And why is that, Max?” Poor Max, strained at the mood of his Alpha. He swallowed air down his throat like it was his fault, to begin with. He stammered through his answer, “It - it was her doing, Alpha. Our futu
~Alana~ Alana was chasing her breath. Her throat appeared so dry, she repeatedly gulped down her own spew. Walking through the hallway and on the stairs, she soothed the drumming inside her chest. To say that she was nervous was an understatement. At that point, she was this close to having a heart attack. “Mom, hurry up! Dad’s waiting for you.” Two steps ahead of her, Kai casually said with a smile, and that further made her heart restless. “Kai, please stay behind me. I want to make sure you did not randomly let a stranger inside our house and claim him to be your father,” Alana scolded, her voice barely audible, hoping to keep the exchange between her and Kai. Her son dismissed her worries. He chuckled at her mother’s assumptions and said, “I’m pretty sure he is my dad, mom. Besides, he said so himself.” It was the most anxious walk she had ever made, all while making it into the kitchen of her
~Alana~ It was a good ten minutes that Alana rested her face against Alric’s broad chest and it was heavenly. In his arms, she felt at home, protected, and… uniquely, loved. Alana swore she must be going out of her mind. She was this close to deciding how she was falling in love with Kai’s father. How her feelings developed at such a rate was completely bewildering. After some time, Alric loosened his arms around her. With one arm remaining around her back, he cupped her chin and asked, “Feeling better now?” She nodded and smiled sheepishly. As her eyes wandered to her bed, she frowned and asked, “Alric, did - did you sleep on my bed?” A hiss left Alric’s lips but his expression turned mischievous when he revealed, “Yes, in fact… you came at my touch.” ‘Ahh!’ Her insides were screaming. How could she? She thought it was a dream, but apparently, it was real! ‘Did I really cum in my sleep?’ Her body stiffened and h
