"Who's next?" I asked in my alpha's voice and the men cowered, lowering their heads as they moved back in submission, not a single one uttering a word in counter.
I scoffed. "Well, then I guess that's settled," I patted the big black wolf, and it transformed into a tall handsome man with toned muscles. "I will leave you to the rest," I said to him. "Yes, Master," he nodded while I turned around and walked out of the tent. I ambled further into the woods reaching our hideout and changed into a new dress while I allowed Tova to heal the wounds on my arm. It had all been a cover— a disguise, just to make myself look vulnerable and be at the mercy of those fools. Moments later, I heard the leaves in the woods rattle behind me more than usual, and the atmosphere became tense. Being alert, I grabbed my dagger skillfully, waiting to unleash it on the unfortunate person. I noticed the footsteps getting stealthier, I felt the warmth of a body behind me and I stretched my hands immediately, calculated and cunning, I swirled around. "Woah... Woah," Kaiden alarmed, and my hand froze in place, the tip of my dagger almost pressed to his throat and piercing his skin. I glared at him. "How many times have I warned you to stop sneaking behind me? I could have hurt you," I frowned, and his face twinged in amusement, a small smile appearing on his lips. "But you didn't," Kaiden winked as he teased, and I rolled my eyes, withdrawing my hand away. "What of the men?" I inquired and he huffed. "They've decided to cooperate," he informed, and I returned the dagger to the leather belt strapped around my right thigh. "Good, we move along with the plan and use that as a leverage to enter the Redmoon pack at dawn," I gritted, hating the fact I would have to dwell among my enemies for a period of time to take out my revenge. Kaiden moved closer to me, "You should think about this, Master," he reached out to me, grabbing my left arm and pulling me closer to him. I gasped slightly at the contact of his body with mine, and I looked up at him with a glare, my face twisting into a frown. "What's there to think about?" I furrowed my brows at him. He sighed, using his other hand to dishevel his jet-black silky hair, his emerald eyes staring warmly into mine, "You know this is dangerous, Master... I don't want you to be hurt and feel more pain," he spoke softly. I snatched my arm away from his furiously, taking two steps away from him as I gave him a death stare, "You always find a way to bring this up, don't you? Reminding me of the death mission I'm about to place the two of us in, if you can't do this with me, then I'm freeing you to walk away, go on, and live your life peacefully," I said sternly. I was the Alpha princess of the Raven Claw's pack until the Redmoon pack came into view, declaring war upon us and destroying everything that came up their way. My families were slaughtered mercilessly, and the pack members weren't spared either. Alpha of the Redmoon pack made sure we went into extinction. Fortunately, Kaiden and I were the only ones able to escape from their rage. Kaiden was my bodyguard, loyal and reliable to a fault, and had taken it upon himself that he would always protect and keep me from harm. "Master..." he breathed out, then proceeded to take a piece of fabric on the log of wood. He closed the distance between us, his gaze focused on my face. "I just want you to be safe," he mumbled raising his hand as he attempted to clean my face, the blood of that bastard sticking on my skin, but I slapped his hand away, still mad at him. Kaiden gave me a smile and I cocked a brow at him, wondering why he was smiling. To my surprise, Kaiden got on his knees before me and gently grabbed my left hand. He kissed the back of my hand with his soft alluring lips and I tensed up at the velvety contact of his warm tongue against my skin as he licked me tauntingly. He looked up at me and my heart skipped a beat, his piercing green eyes locked with mine, crinkling at the corner as I was unable to look away. "You know I can't leave you, Master. I will always be by your side, no matter how dangerous it is," he assured, his mouth smiling against the back of my hand. "Okay," I flustered, feeling my cheeks warm up, and I slipped my hand away from Kaiden's hold, and he rose to his feet. Kaiden snaked his arm around my waist and I gasped, colliding into him. I raised my face to look at him, my heart beating in a slow rhythm. "Allow me..." he muttered, his eyes flickering to my green eyes that were almost matching with his just that they were a tad lighter than his. Then slowly he trailed his eyes to my neck and I nodded, giving him permission. Kaiden leaned closer, his warm breath fanning my face as he cleaned the blood on my skin. The next day, we finally arrived at the Redmoon pack, after the guards had given Kaiden a pass to enter into the pack kingdom thanks to his disguise as the slave master while I was in chains along with the other slaves. That was my role to play... being a slave! The caravan came to a halt at the Beta's mansion and a beautiful young woman dressed in a sky-blue kirtle complementing the deep blue in her eyes was just emerging from the house. Two women dressed in dull brown clothing trailed behind her and I assumed it must be her—the beta's daughter, Elara. She fits into the description the men had given to us. Porcelain skin, slender curves, and long flowing black hair that cascaded behind her and reached to her butt. She was really beautiful indeed. I and the other slaves were lined up for her to inspect and make her pick. "Are these the slaves?" she sheered in utter disgust. She has rotten blood in her, just like her people. She walked up to me giving me a bit of her time, I avoided her gaze, lowering my head, molding myself into the meek slave I was supposed to be even though I hated it. "None of these specks of dirt excites me, take them away!" she ordered. What? No! If I don't get picked to be her slave, then my plan will fail miserably. We need to act fast... I looked up, my gaze landed on Kaiden who was also staring at me and I shot a glare at him, screaming silently that he should do something. Kaiden nodded, getting my hint as he came forward and blocked Elara's way, a charming smile plastered on his handsome face. "Not so fast, Milady."AKIRANo, this can't be happening!Zane’s lips and mine in contact? My eyes widened as I froze. It felt as if time was put on a pause while I tried to process what the just happened.Bu-but… why is he not pulling away and why am I not pushing him away either? My face reddened, cheeks flushed as I gulped. Tova in my mind was already stirring and wagging her tail excitedly. I'd even tried to stop her from bursting into a fit of endless emotions for the enemy's son.Zane pulled his head back slightly, his blue eyes meeting mine while my chest heaved in a rising and falling state. His gaze flickered to my lips which were slightly parted and incautiously inviting him in. I could see his jaw twitch at the side like he was having a difficult time comprehending what just happened.“Za—”His name was taken out of my lips again as he lowered his face again and captured my lips with his. A slight wavering gasp escaped my lips and I pressed my palms on his shoulder blade trying to push him off in
AKIRA"It's nothing... You should get going Kaiden," I said batting my eyes at him.He moved closer, grabbing my wrist and pulling me closer to him, a slight gasp escaped my lips as I collapsed into his chest. " Don't give me that, I saw your face all wrapped up last night," he revealed.I pulled back, raising my face to look at him astonishingly. "Last night?" I questioned.Kaiden blinked at me, his expression calm as he cleared his throat. "You were in my room last night, weren't you?" I frowned slightly, raising a brow at him."Yeah, I was, and I saw that dimwit carry you in too,” he gaze darkened and I sighed. I brushed my hair to the side and tilted my head at him. “Did you see?” “It's all healed up and I’m fine, you don't need to worry about getting back at the person for me, I will do that myself,” I said.“Okay, I guess, I’d have to take my leave then,” he noted and I nodded giving him a small smile.“Yeah, I’d see you soon,” I leaned closer to him, wanting to drop a peck on
AKIRA“Kaiden?” My eyes widened as I took in his face. He was really the one.“What are you doing? Why are you here?” I asked in a whisper.“Shhh…” his index finger came to my lips and my face flushed but I wasn't done with him yet.“They won't know…” I scrunched my face at him and looked down at at he was wearing. He was putting on the guard's uniform. How he got that I don't know but I'm sure he must have knocked one of them out to get their uniform.“A disguise?” I threw at him not feeling too fazed at what he’d done. He could have just waited until nightfall we meet.“Do you think it's bad?” he asked and I sighed.Kaiden moved back a bit, creating some distance between us to look at my face. And I tilted my head to the side and folded my arms over my chest. “So, why are you here?” I asked with a slight yawn.“To see you,” he answered straight away, and couldn't help but roll my eyes.“Kaiden be serious, are you here to just see me or feed some information on anything you have to m
AKIRAIt was Elora and I sighed. This couldn't have gotten any worse. Two rubbles that matched each other's energies.I thought she was asked to leave the pack, what is she still doing in the pack?"Surprised to see me?" she taunted and my eyebrows twisted into a knot. "Well..." she moved closer while I glared at her."You don't expect a princess like me from a reputable pack to be sent home just like that," she boasted and I scoffed."You staying here or not is none of my concern, do not meddle in my business," I growled and she laughed."Did you just say business? What business?" she taunted."Making Alpha Zane to crown you the Luna of the pack?" she scoffed. "In your pathetic dreams."I rolled my eyes and shook my head while at it. What makes them think I am very much interested in becoming the Luna of this moon's forsaken pack?"Lady Elara, you must be the daughter of Beta Orion," she turned to Elara who had been staring at her with keen interest with a smile hanging at both ends
AKIRAZane's face was etched with surprise and his eyes glinted as he looked at me. "You're an omega, you're not supposed to heal that fast," he said, looking at me.I'd already forgotten I was putting on a cover and I shouldn't have taken off the white lined which was used to wrap my face off yet. "Uhm, I don't think it's much of a big deal," I tried to say."My wolf tends to heal my wounds as fast as it can, it hates when I have wounds that would leave scars on me," I managed to hook up and he hummed in response."That's nice of her, I'd love to meet her one of these days," Zane uttered and my heart skipped a beat. I can't let that happen either."Uhm, ok-okay," I smiled at him."Well... It's a good thing you have your pretty face back, I was so worried that you'd end up having a scar." He teased."Would that have changed your thoughts about me?" I taunted looking at me, his eyes met mine and his smile deepened. He reached out to me, his hand touching the back of my hand and rubbing
