The Club House

POV Gianna:

Next month is our big move to the former palace. I am packing some items in my closet, and I come across a box I have not seen in years. I grab it down and wipe the dust off.

I open the box and it is full of pictures and memorabilia of when I was younger, I sit down and go through it. I find some pictures of me and Aaron, some movie passes to some movies, then I come across something I have looked for, for a very long time.

I take the bracelet out that Lucas gave me for my fourteenth birthday, my eyes glisten with tears and my mood saddens.

“Oh Lucas, I wish you could see how everything turned out. Onyx is now Alpha of our pack; I am going to be a double Queen. Life has definitely turned out not how I was expecting. I miss you my dear friend, my first love.”

A few tears escape my eyes and I wipe them away. I can smell my husband enter our bedroom and I quickly put the box back where it was.

“You know it’s okay to miss him still.” Rasheed says.

He comes up behind me and wra
