POV Gianna:

It’s been a few hours since the baby shower and Trigger comes out holding a little baby boy wrapped in an emerald green blanket.

“Everyone I would like you all to meet Kai Joseph Smith” Trigger says.

He angles him so we can all see but not touch.

“Gianna, Alex wanted you to be the first to hold him.” Trigger says.

My eyes glisten at the honor, Trigger places Kai into my arms and his little hand grabs my finger with force.

“He has a strong grip; he’s going to make a phenomenal warrior.” I say.

“He came out punching” Trigger laughs.

After a while, I hand him back to Trigger and the doors to the mom and baby open again. Aaron walks out with a sadden face.

Oh no, what happened. I rush up to him only for him to grab me into a bear hug.

“MY BOY IS HERE!” He shouts into my ear.

“You scared me. I thought something happened to the baby or Storm.”

He chuckles and tells me Storm wants to see me. I walk into her room which is right next to Alex’s. They might as well be in the same roo
