Chapter Thirty-One

As soon as the howls rang out I shifted into my smokey grey wolf and howled once more and soon enough every other wolf started to take off their clothes and shift, joining my pack for a time-honoured tradition of a run through pack lands led by the Alpha. I waited for a bit and sent everyone a mind link, saying they need not shift and join in the run if they didn’t feel like it, it was mandatory in terms of participation. I padded over to where Magnus and his brothers were standing and sat in front of them, watching them closely as they looked at me.
