Chapter Fifty-Five
AurielleAnother chapter up. For some reason, I really love writing this one and just showing the deepening of the relationship they have and it was also nice to give a little more context to Kane and Magnus's relationship. As always I love hearing from you guys so let me know what you think.

I sat with Mira in the silence of my office until a young girl who worked in the kitchen knocked on the door and came in with a cart that had tea and snacks for us. I thanked her as she set up everything on the coffee table before leaving the room. I walked into the suite and found my men lounging on the couch in a very relaxed and domesticated manner. Kane was just in sweats and he sat in the corner of the sectional going over a few papers from a folder, a small frown of concentration on his face. Magnus was just in his soft black lounge pants and was on the recliner part of the sectional with a book in his hand and a cup of tea beside him on the coffee table. I smiled fondly before I made my way into the bedroom to change into something more comfortable. I woke in the morning feeling warm and secure, two sets of arms wrapped snugly around me with Kane’s face in my neck and Magnus’s in my hair. That couldn’t be comfortable. I sighed in contentment and basked in the feel of being wrapped up in my mates before slowly and carefully sneaking out of the bed. I sighed and laid in the grass, my eyes closed as I enjoyed the warmth of the sun, the light golden and warm behind my eyelids, flushing my skin as I breathed deeply.
