“I have to admit, I’m becoming a fan of Miss Tilly’s food. It definitely hits the spot.” Cadmus said with a nod as he finished the last of his burger and started to clean up the garbage. I nodded and helped clean up, throwing it all in the garbage before going back and sitting with him on the couch, cuddling into his side.
“I’m glad you’re a fan.” I chuckled and rested my head on his chest, holding his hand and sighing in contentment.
“I’m more a fan of this than anything else. I enjoy the quiet moments we get together.” He murmured as he kissed the top of my head.
“We haven’t had enough of them, unfortunately. And there's been no time at all to have any sort of conversation.” I sighed as I ran a hand through my hair.

Life became extremely hectic over the next month and it felt like there was no time to stop and take a breather. We hadn’t seen the black wolves at all for a month and it left us extremely nervous. Why the near-constant attacks and then just stop all of a sudden? It didn’t make sense. Turns out, they were back to attacking other packs, only this time, it was resulting in the deaths of a few wolves from each pack.
