Layla was making dinner for both her and her father. It had been almost two months since her sister had gone missing and at that point they had given up on finding her. Both her and her father had considered Sabrina dead.

Her father had been locking himself away in his room for most of the time. Just like when her mother died, the old man did not handle it that well, he kept on blaming himself for everything.

His work had been all over the place and Layla had started to find some freelance online work as well to add some cash into the household balance since her father’s condition was getting worse day by day, not physically, but mentally.

He also started smoking a lot as well which made the house smell like cigar. It almost drove Layla crazy but she knew she could not go mad as well. Somebody in that house needed to remain sane when the other had gone insan
