“Eris, please.”

“No, Ocean!” She yelled. I could see the tears in her eyes. “Don’t tell me I was living in an illusion all this while!”

“I…” She stared at my hand. There was blood stained on it and I tried to hide it behind me, but she already saw it.

“I thought..” She paused, and the tears rolled down her cheek. She shook her head several times, and my chest felt heavy.

“I can’t stand you right now, Ocean.” I felt the tightening in my chest, and I was finding it difficult to breathe. I held my hand on the wall, but she was gone.

I went over to the restroom, I washed my hands while I stared at the mirror in front of me.

I sighed and leaned against the wall. I lifted my hand and stared at it.

I hated myself at that moment. I had never felt this way before. I had never regretted hitting someone, but I did.
