Sloane

I signed the contract.

I was no longer just Sloane Moon. I belonged to the triplet Alphas of the Moonlight Pack. I was theirs to use. Their pet.

For the first time today, I left the comfort of the room and roamed the house. The plan was to learn every single part of this building in case I needed to run away.

Yes, that wasn't behind me either. I figured the only way to get them off my back was to do exactly what they wanted and, when they weren't expecting it, run away.

It was already painful that neither Mom nor Kris were answering my calls. So why not make myself comfortable now?

Logan, Dean, and Hunter were out on business today, and I was left alone. I watched the maids clean the whole house while I did nothing but eat and eat.

After several hours, Logan returned alone and walked into his room. When the maid wanted to bring in a fresh towel for him, I decided to go instead.

“Here, let me,” I said. “I can take it up for you.”

She smiled and handed me the fresh towels while I walked up to Logan's room, my heart beating faster by the second. The door was open and I walked right in. His room was a dark, deep red; the sheets were plain white with drapes a darkish red color. The king-sized bed and walk-in closet exuded nothing but wealth.

“Logan,” I called.

“In here,” he answered from the bathroom. I swallowed and walked into the bathroom.

He was sunk into a soapy bathtub, his chest exposed. The moment I walked in, my eyes locked onto him; instinctively, I trailed my gaze down his bare chest, taking note of the tattoo that started at his shoulder and ran to the end of his left arm.

His chest glistened from the soap as he rubbed his skin. I froze, standing immobile by the door, hands full of clean towels.

“Oh, hi. You can drop them here,” he said slowly.

I nodded, walked over to where he pointed, and dropped the towel. Don't look at him.

If I avoided his eyes, I could leave quickly.

“Turn around,” he said.

I swallowed and counted from one to five before I turned to face him.

I looked into his eyes — the same ones that were suddenly starting to charm me.

“Come closer,” he said. I took a deep breath and stepped two paces forward. My ragged breaths filled the room as my chest heaved.

His hands looped with mine, wet fingers touching my dry ones. I closed my eyes while I felt that electric pull.

Fuck.

“I can feel it too,” he said after a few silent beats.

“The electricity flowing through your veins and mine,” he whispered, and something inside me rumbled.

Why did I always react like this when he was near? Why was it so hard to avoid him?

I opened my eyes slowly, only to find him staring at me with the hunger of a starved man. I moved closer; my legs were so near the bathtub that I accidentally tumbled into the water, landing face-first on his chest.

“Ah!” I screamed as I fell in, but he caught me properly. I sat up, trying to stay still when I felt something hard poking me at my side.

“What is this?” I asked.

“What do you think?” He swallowed. “I'm a man. This is just the natural reaction a man has when a woman he likes is near him.”

“You… you like me?” I stuttered, blinking up at him.

“Isn't it obvious?” he said.

Didn't this feel wrong without the other brothers?

To me… it felt wrong, yet so good.

His palm touched my back, pushing me forward until we were almost flush. I could feel his breath on mine, skin to skin. I closed my eyes, hands trailing down to where his cock was hard.

I held it, watching him freeze from the contact. Slowly, my hands dropped to the base and up again to the head.

He hissed, gripping me tightly now. His hands trailed to the back of my neck as he held on. I moved forward, our lips almost touching, a few inches apart, when a knock sounded on the door.

“Logan,” a woman's voice called from behind the door.

“Mom? Shit,” he whispered.

Mom? What the fuck?

“Logan? Are you in there? I'm coming in.”

“Shit,” I cursed, looking for somewhere to hide. He pushed my head into the water, trying to submerge me.

Fuck, I could barely breathe.

Loud heels approached, filling the bathroom. Logan's mom walked in, I presumed, while he acted like I wasn't suffering underwater.

I'm not a mermaid, you know.

“Mom! I didn't know you'd be back so soon. How was Italy?”

“Boring, so I decided to surprise my boys. Where's Dean and Hunter?” she asked, her loud voice

reverberating through the walls.

She sounded chic, like a billionaire boss. But she did sound bossy as well.

“At work. I had to come back because I needed to relax.”

“Is that so?”

“What's wrong, Mom?” he asked, his voice pitched high.

Even without me watching, i could tell he was hiding something. The way he stuttered and asked unreasonable questions gave him away.

I squeezed his dick and he jolted. I pressed my face against his backside, breathing quickly before submerging my head again to hide.

“Something doesn't feel right. Why are you back home and not with your brothers? I don't believe you.”

“I told you, I needed some fresh air.”

“Or you have a girl with you in the shower.”

“That's ridiculous,” he tried to laugh off.

God, he can be so stupid.

“I know you, Logan. You're my son, and I know when you're lying.”

She walked closer to the tub. I tried to be quiet this time so she wouldn't realize I was under the water, but I could barely breathe. I needed air.

SloaneIt's been three hours and the triplets still aren't back. I've been staring at my phone, scrolling through Instagram, trying to distract myself from the boredom.I looked back at the door and, just like that, stood up from the bed, removed the drip bag connected to me, and walked to the door. I peeked into the hallway, expecting someone to walk right up to me, but I didn't see a single soul. Determined, I went out and walked down the stairs until I reached the kitchen. As predicted, Genevieve was there, preparing something with the other maids. The moment she saw me, she left whatever she was doing and pulled me into a hug."Girl, where have you been?!" she asked, shaking, but I smiled back and shook my head."I've been—""You know what? Pause! Let me finish up here and I'll come get you.""Sure," I smiled and moved away as she returned to her tasks.I walked up the stairs slowly, my head deep in my phone as I counted my steps. Suddenly I bumped into someone; my head rose to a

Sloane “There's no need to bother yourself about it. Just stay away from her,” Hunter said, clearly shutting me out.Why doesn't he want to tell me what happened? That's the thing I hate, they keep things from me.They keep piling up secrets and expect me to deal with them.“What are we going to do about your mom?”“Don't worry about it,” Dean said, his hands in his pants pockets as he looked at me with a hard face. It felt as if he were angry or upset with his mother.“We'll leave you now. If you ever need us, you can beep us and we'll come running.”Like my knights in shining armour. My heart skipped a beat when I heard that, a rumble in my chest as a blush crept up my cheeks.Logan walked to where I sat, crouched down to my level, and placed a kiss on my forehead. My chest warmed and my heart fluttered.I looked at Dean and Hunter, who only smiled at me—one winking—and I tried to hold my smile. They all turned and walked out of the room, leaving me with a racing heart and my hands

Hunter “How could you do this, Mom?”“How could I do what? All I want is for my boys to leave that whore—”“Enough! I won't sit here and watch you call her that. Now listen to me and listen well…” My voice trailed, eyes wide with rage.“The next time you do this, I will personally leave. And don't—don't you ever call Sloane names. She has a name, and believe it or not, she means a lot to us.”I stood up, not waiting for her to say another word, and walked out. Lillian stood by the doorway and tried to call me back, but I didn't listen. What fueled me was rage, and I had to leave, stat.I walked right out of the hospital and to my car when I got a call from my brothers.“What's wrong? We just got your text. How's Mom?” Logan asked, his voice high-pitched.“She's fine. She lied about it. She actually caused her injury.”There was no response for a moment until Dean slowly asked, “What do you mean, caused her own injury?”“She fell down the stairs by herself. She needed the attention fr

Sloane “Die? What do you mean?”“We can explain more after you're healed,” Dean said as the brothers stood up from the edges of the bed.“Please stay here and rest. Don't even try to escape or we'll find you. You need to be with us, and no, we aren't leaving your side,” Hunter confirmed, and the other brothers nodded.I nodded and lay back on the bed. I didn't understand a thing they said. I thought being the MoonSeed would be different. Now this bond the four of us share is… it's stronger than ever.If so, that means it's stronger than a regular mate bond. This is bound by the moon goddess herself.I lay still and watched the triplets standing beside my bed, watching me. I closed my eyes and tried to sleep until I fell into darkness.—------------------------------------------Hunter“Do you think we should tell her the full story?”“We should,” Logan said immediately. I looked back at Sloane, who was already fast asleep. Her legs were spread out, hands under her head as she slept

Sloane “You want to tell me why? What else do you have to say this time?”“You need to come back.”I paused, looking at him to see if he was serious or joking, then burst into a fit of laughter. He must be joking, talking to me like that.“You're really funny, Logan. Really funny.”“I'm serious, Sloane.”A part of me sank when he didn't call me little one. I guess I was expecting that nickname.Fuck. You know what? I need a breather. This is just too much for me right now and my head feels like it's being hammered for some reason. I took painkillers but they're not working.I touched my head and pulled away from him. He let me go and stood there, watching me hold my head as I winced in pain.“You're starting to experience it.”“Experience what?”“The signs of withdrawal.”I looked at him like he was spitting trash, because that is exactly what he was spitting — trash, and I didn't have time to hear it.“I'm just really tired. I didn't sleep well last night.”“It's not just that. It's

  • The Alpha Triple Claim: Her MoonSeed Bond   Chapter 50 : Need to talk

SloaneI couldn't sleep last night, mostly because of the fight between Noah and Camilla and because I feared for my life. I was at work, yet my head still throbbed. I would take painkillers when I'm on a break. The knock on my office door came and I responded with a "come in." Lillian opened the door, popping her head inside. She greeted me with a smile, her hands on the door.“Sloane, may I come in?” she asked, and I nodded. To be honest, I didn't want to see her, but I couldn't exactly say that. Lillian is my boss, and since I would be seeing her often, it's best to act like everything was fine. She stepped in, hands at her sides. She had a peach gown on this time; it was so fitted it hugged her curves. How can she be so slim and thick at the same time? She had a beautiful body and she knew it by the way she carried herself.“I wanted to talk to you about something.”“Sure, what is it?”“I noticed you got Tracy moved from you to Helen as her doctor. I want to know why?”“Oh,” I sai
