A loud deafening silence stretched between us for almost a minute. Amanda didn’t look at me, her eyes playing around the throne room like she was trying to digest what I’d just said.

“There’s no rush at all, I’ll give you the time you need to think about it. But I’d be honored if you’d consider this offer..” I added and she nodded slowly.
