Nivia’s pov

“You’re okay, sweetie. It’s going to be okay.” I told Percy while I held him.

Madeline came into the room, “alpha, -“

“If you don’t get the hell out of this room right now, I will end you, so help me Goddess…” I told her this while covering Percy’s ears with my hand.

Madeline quickly closed the door behind her, fear written on her face.

“I’m sorry,” Percy said, looking up at me, his face wet with tears.

“For what, sweetie? You did nothing wrong.”

“I was so mean to you…” Percy replied before he began to sob.

I held him, my hand caressing his back as I let him cry. “I love you, Percy. It’s going to be okay.” I kept telling him.

Once he was a bit more calm, I decided it was time for me to talk to him instead of letting his father handle it.

“I think we should talk about why you were mean to me.” I told Percy.

Very long chapter and it almost made me cry to write this. But Ford needs a big push.. or a sledgehammer to the chest. something to make him see that he's pushing everyone away. I was too scared to read the comments on the last chapter. I hope you're all not too mad. When me and my husband talked about kids we discussed how we would raise them. he was raised with spanking and everything and in his mind that was fine. It didn't hurt him. But I was raised by a mom who was very badly abused throughout her childhood, so she never lay a finger on us and I vowed to do the same. i think there is always another way to solve things. thankfully my husband agreed :)

I was raised with spankings, so it wasn't weird to me that he was spanking his children. it was his reason that was wrong. I am rooting for Ford! I want him and Nivia to be a power couple! I'm frustrated for Nivia. I understand her frustration. she has taken the time to know him, but he didn't.
