Are You Crazy
Monday morning I got up and dressed in a red and black striped sweater dress and black leggings with my knee-high black boots. Shutting the front door behind me I braced myself as a sharp wisp of wind hit me. Most of the weekend I had spent hiding in my house ignoring any and all calls or texts. I still wasn’t sure how I felt about Lucien but I was determined to show up for work and do my best to ignore him.
Pulling up in the drive I saw Lucien’s truck and began having second thoughts about this whole thing. Shaking my head I decided it was now or never and I couldn’t afford to not have a job. By the time we made it out of WalMart I was exhausted. What started out as a simple trip for a tv ended up being a tv, PlayStation, PlayStation games, and more junk food than I think I have ever seen in my life. It had been over a week since the war had been declared and from the outside, everything appeared normal. I had only seen Lucien a handful of times since he left my house ordering Jax to “keep guard” over me. I was beginning to feel like a dog. I mean if I wanted to go outside, Jax had to take me.
