Chapter 101

Ava’S POV

A loud siren suddenly started blaring, making my head hurt badly.

"All residents of the pack are to assemble in the general hall immediately," said the voice of Vron, the leader of the pack and the instructor of the Numbers.

I got dressed quickly and went to the hall alongside Belle, who explained everything about the pack that Five and Ven had left out. There were only twelve of the numbers left. Vron was a witch, and the most powerful among the werewolves were the triplet grandchildren of Count Dracula, which were Lawson, the guy from yesterday, herself, and someone called Rawlaine. They were sixty-three years old each, and they were opposing their grandfather by choosing the opposite side from him in the war.

"We used to be so close when we were young, but something happened. Rawlaine doesn't interact with anyone anymore; it's rumored that something happened to him some twenty years ago." Belle looked sad as she said that.
