Chapter 45: Fleeing the rogues and the pack scouts

Together, Blaze and Lilith stayed clear of the pack’s tracks as they ran across the trees.  

They stopped once in a while only for Blaze to check for any possible threats around their surroundings and for Lilith to catch her breath.

Dried up leaves crushed underneath their feet but at this point, they couldn’t care less about the noises they were making. They were on a mission and they were set on completing it.

Blaze was half pulling her and half running at a moderate speed to match her steps.

He made sure not to tighten his grip around her hand since his claws had extended out, his wolf forcing him to half-shift.

Bash couldn’t stay still when Blaze had to use his energy to outsmart the rogues and pack scouts. He wanted to help him get Lilith to a safer place.

Lilith stole a glance at Blaze.

She was finally outside and yet, she didn’t have time to appreciate the beauty of the nature around her.
