Chapter 69 - She was the fuel to his tinder

“Lilith, please, just give me a moment. I’ll tell you the truth.” Blaze held her arms to stop her at an arm distance.

“What?” She growled out.

Blaze gazed into her aroused golden eyes as his wolf tried to connect with hers but alas. Bash couldn’t feel her at all.

Bash gave a small whine, 'It’s all up to you.'

It would be hard to convince her when she was in this state of mind, Blaze thought as he gulped.

“Raine just lied to you. It’s not true -” He started.

“You’re lying to me. I saw the way you looked at Raine. You were angry that she told me, weren’t you?” Lilith intervened, sounding furious.

She had no control over her emotions. Her anger was getting the best out of her. Frowning, she rubbed her forehead as she tried to rein in her anger. At the same time, she noticed that her fingernails were back to normal.

Warm fingers traced down the side of her cheek and reclaimed her attention. “I wasn’t angry at her because of that. She just caught me off guard.”
