Chapter 73 - Vampires and rogues

Lilith's stomach launched itself into her throat as if it had been emergency ejected when the vampire's head turned towards the house. She swiftly spun around to hide from view.

She gasped when her back ended up hitting the wall beside the window. The cold surface pressing against her back made it hard for her to think.

She felt cold yet hot. She was afraid. She couldn’t avoid from stressing out when a vampire was watching the house.

Anxiety made it much harder for her to articulate her thoughts.

She started pacing around and gazed up at the clock to find that it was fifteen minutes past ten. If the vampires reached the pack at this time, they must have been scouting the pack borders from outside the territory since last night.

How did no one notice them or sense them by the pack borders? How did they even manage to cross the pack borders? As long as Lilith could remember, those places were heavily guarded from each side.
