Blake sat at the table with Thea in their apartment in the packhouse. He had noticed lately that Thea wasn't herself. The move had happened almost a year ago, but still, she seemed off to him. She was happier to have her mountain, but something was still upsetting her. He knew it had something to do with the mountain and he had a plan to fix some things for her. He just hoped she didn't come back early. Her voice broke his thoughts and he looked up at her.

"What's on your mind?"

"Just thinking of how terribly bored I'll be when you leave."

"I'm not leaving for a few hours. Missy is coming to get me and we are going through the portal to go see your mom."

"All the lunas and beta females will be there?"

"Yes. It's a clinic for all of us."

"How long will you be gone, again?"

"Three weeks."
