ARIA'S POV

Six months after the Council's decision, Ironfang looked different.

The walls had been repaired, stronger than before. The refugee quarter had expanded into a proper settlement, with humans and wolves living in adjacent buildings. The breeding cells had been converted into family housing.

And in the center of it all, the great hall had been transformed into a meeting place where the reform committee gathered weekly to hammer out new policies.
