Leaving Catalina island

I thought I was going to have a pleasant time here in camp. I thought I would have a great memory outside the island but I never knew that it was not the case. My time in Catalina island was already coming to an end.

It was hard to believe, but I had no choice. A part of me still wanted to return to my father Eddie. I wanted to know how he was doing, if he still returned home late and could barely have his favourite coffee before bed.

I picked up my favourite jean jacket from the bed as a wide smile spread across my face. The memories were still fresh. That morning, a few months before I returned back to California. I had spent the best summer with my work colleagues before I said goodbye.
