15) Reality Hits Harder

The moment I opened my eyes, the first thing they caught was Eva's fragile body covered in hickeys and bruises all over and her facial features showed so much of distress that for a moment I even forgot how to breath in.

"What have we done, Eros?" I muttered slowly, totally disappointed in myself.

If this is anything else, I would never waste my breath like this, guilt tripping my own self. But now... I can feel myself slowly giving in to the bond and I didn't wish to see her like this ever again.

'She won't mind it. After all... we're mates, right?'

'Did she look like she wouldn't care?' I snapped at Eros, recalling the way she kept begging and pleading to stop until she couldn't anymore…

'If something bad happened because of this... I would never forgive you!'

'Look who's talking! You are the one who didn't want to have a mate in the first place!! So the way I deal with MY mate doesn't concern you!!!' Eros growled back no giving the slightest shit about my warning.
