Chapter 21

A few days had passed and Selene was not feeling better. She was worse, to say the least. There was a strange air inside the house and outside. Everybody was talking in a few words and you could feel that they were preparing for something huge. Selene was so frustrated that she was not able to help with anything, being a lousy human that she wanted to scream. And before she could start and do that she decided to go out and clear her thoughts.

She went out through the back door making sure that nobody would see her, and she disappeared in the forest behind the house. There she was feeling like she had been reborn.

She inhaled deep the fresh air, closing her eyes, feeling already all the moves around her. She was feeling powerful and energized there. It was like the forest was embracing her and she would let herself be one with it. An urge to run wild rose from her chest and she did not think twice.
