Chapter Seventy

Amy POV

Once we are finished feeding Ellie and Beth, we return to the bedroom to set everything up. I giggle when Layla's jaw nearly hits the floor in shock when she sees everything I have delivered for the twins.

“When do you get all this, Amy?”

“This morning when you went with Zach.”

She shakes her head, reading the boxes; so far, we have a pram, baby bath, change table, nappies, and spare bottles. Layla will die when she sees what Diana has in the kitchen. Layla looks a little dazed as she walks around the room, then turns to me when I say,

“Don't worry, I saved the clothes shopping for you; as soon as we work out how to set the pram up, we can go.”

Layla frowns as she opens the box, chewing her bottom lip; she shrugs,

“I have no bloody idea how this goes together,”

Diana chuckles from the doorway,

“It's ok, girls; I have it covered.”

Within minutes she has the pram up and ready for us. I laugh,

“How the hell did you do that.”

Diana raises her eyebrows as she says,

I think you have done a great job!! Most male protagonist fall into the white knight or the overbearing ass… while most are portions of the grey in between… I agree that Nathan is a pice of shit.. and the whole idea of never look back.. ok he never would ever have my trust again…. Kilt him
