Chapter 7- Get used yu o seeing him naked

His words infuriated me. If I was his wife, why then did he introduce me to his lover? I held completely still, fighting against the strong attraction between us. Masking my emotions, I turned to Asher whose gaze burned through me. “ I wish to retire for the day, could you please show me to my chamber,” I forced the words out of my mouth no matter how they sounded. I couldn't think clearly with him beside me. He nodded and started climbing the stairs while I followed him silently, his feet softly falling on the soft carpet as he led me wherever he was going. I stared in awe at the beauty of the castle, it was truly a work of art. The interior looked like a dazzling piece of architecture studded with jewels and beautiful craftsmanship and the exterior looked alluring and enchanting. We arrived at a huge long passage and walked down to the chamber at the right wing of the castle. The guards that were stationed outside the chamber promptly opened the door and stepped aside upon seeing us. I quietly stepped in with Asher behind me. Immediately his sweet scent hit me again and I deeply inhaled lungfuls of his scent over and over again. I looked around the chamber. It had a plain color but sharp tones of black, grey, and silver along with a bit of gold here and there. The ceiling was high above and a huge chandelier hung down from it. The ceiling was so high and it was paneled with tinted glass so it sent soft reflections of light down. But it did not make the chandelier glitter so much that it would hurt the eye. The furniture, the bed, and everything looked exquisite. 

I froze when I noticed that Asher had started unbuttoning his shirt. I had been so busy admiring the chamber that I forgot about him. “ What are you doing?” I demanded. “This was supposed to be my chamber right?” 

He quirked a brow and started removing the cufflinks from his shirt. “ You’re my wife Kayla and there won't be any need to have a separate chamber, so we will be staying here together.” 

I was speechless. Goddess, what was he thinking? What has gotten over him? I looked around and realized that there was just one bed situated in the middle of the room. “ B- but there is only one bed here. Wh- where was I supposed to sleep?  I stuttered. 

He smirked “Where else will my wife sleep but in my bed? Laying beside her husband.” 

I could see a wicked delight dance in his eyes, and the way his alluring voice caressed every word as if it was a gift specially delivered to me. I pressed my lips together and crossed my arms over my chest while glaring at him. “I’m not going to share a bed with you. Why don't you ask your lover to share your chamber and your bed with you? I am certain she would be more than happy to do so.” 

He looked up and met my gaze. Those amber orbs stared at me, raking at my skin, and just like always, when his eyes met mine everything else went silent around me as if nothing else mattered.  

“Well, you don't have much of an option. You better get used to sharing the chamber and bed with me.”  He said as he snapped his fingers and the door fell close behind him. He pulled off his shirt revealing a delicious view of his abs. My eyes widened, my breath hitched, my heart forgot to beat, and my jaws went slack. 

The devilishly handsome Alpha King was standing shirtless before me. He was the definition of a well-built person and looked like he had just stepped out of a fashion magazine. I gulped as I took in his broad chest, his angular muscles that dipped at the perfect angles, and his shoulders that felt like a coiled missile that would launch a bomb at any second. Bloody hell. That body should be worshiped.  I hated to admit it but I was distracted by his current display of muscles and smooth skin. He was a masterpiece. 

“ Done gawking at me?” 

Asher asked me in a husky voice, his eyes staring at me intensely. I tried not to blush hard as his soft and husky voice asked me a question I had no answer to. 

I stammered, “ I… I didn't expect….” 

I tried a lame response but the words would not come out. His dazzling amber eyes raked me, demanding me to complete the line as he quirked an eyebrow. 

“ Didn’t expect?” 

“I didn't expect you to undress before me,” I spoke a bit too fast and a cocky grin appeared on his face.

“ We’re now a married couple. You should get used to seeing me naked from now onwards.” 

I flushed at his words. Get used to seeing him naked? My mind began to plot how it would be to see him completely naked, to see him in his true glory, to feel those hard muscles beneath my skin while— I shook my head, clearing my mind from the erotic scenes playing in it. 

He turned his back to me as he searched inside the closet for a shirt. I bit my lip while his muscles were on full display in front of me. I don't understand why I found every damn thing about this man so attractive, even though he was ruthless.

“ Tonight, I will be hosting a party in the Pack hall in honor of your arrival,” he said suddenly. 

“ A party for me? So, everyone can see that you have a wife, but still keep your lover around.” I shook my head, stubbornly. “ I have been embarrassed already in front of the servants and warriors. I don't want to be embarrassed before the Pack. You can take your lover instead, I don't mind.” I made an effort to keep my emotions out of my voice. 

Asher stared at me expressionlessly. “ You will attend,” he growled.
