Valia’s boots slapped against the ground as she darted towards Ligon's study in the war chamber, her mind on the information she had to deliver.

A shriek of laughter snapped her out of her thoughts.

“Get him! He’s cheating!”

She barely had time to turn before something small and fast collided with her side.

Water splashed everywhere.

Cold.

Valia's mouth opened in shock as the water soaked through her shirt and dripped down her spine.

“Oh my—!” she gasped, staggering as two more shapes crashed into her with muffled humnps.

One of the boys slipped on the puddled water, flailing. In his panic to steady himself, his hand shot out, catching her tunic.

The fabric gave a sharp, traitorous sound.

Riiip!

He stumbled backward, claws half-bared from instinct, and to Valia’s horror, they snagged again, this time on her trousers.

Another tear followed, louder and more humiliating.

“By the moons—!” Valia hissed, clutching at what was left of her dignity as the boy froze, wide-eyed and terrified.

"And how does that work. Enlighten me." Mangolia asked dryly as plopped beside the twin, wrapping a bandage around Karr's abdomen.Krolla’s cracked chuckle rolled through the group. Wincing a bit as he wrapped his arm around his injured ribs. “She will. She’s terrifying.”Mangolia tore a pie in half and handed it to him. “Eat.”They devoured everything in minutes, choking and laughing between bites and cranky Fremelin jokes. It was the sound of children grateful to survive another day rather than the sound of joy. To them Mangolia was just a kind noble who took pity on them today but that didn't mean he couldn't turn against them tomorrow. Such is the fate of the lowest commoner, so they'd rather just enjoy the brief peace and food he gave. When the food was gone, Mangolia's child like eyes filled with concern, looked at them all and said, “No one gets to touch you again.”“Big words, noble,” said Rusk under a scoff.“A promise,” Mangolia answered.Weeks LaterThey met every dusk afte

"Fasterrr" Mangolia's child-like deep voice hammered at a laughing Krolla"Oh shattap." Krolla retorted, his grin wide as flat plates. Mangolia’s mind wandered to the past as Krolla thundered beneath him. To a time before the gang had a name.He was six then, wearing the itchy label of an heir and choking on it.“Sit straight, Mangolia. Chin up.”The tutor’s voice buzzed like a trapped fly. On the table lay the royal genealogies, neat lines of names that meant nothing to him.He stared out the window. Beyond the courtyard walls. Laughter echoed. Shrill, unrefined, real and definitely like something he's been advised against being around. His fingers twitched.“Mangolia,” the tutor warned, “eyes front.”Doing the exact opposite of his tutor's will, his eyes darted farther through his window and before she could blink, he was already gone. Tearing through the room in his cream colored wolf form. The beast larger than his age. He hung a bag with his clothes in it, across his neck expert

“Mangolia Paul!”The shout boomed down the corridor, followed by the thud of booted feet. The city of Malogoria stood out like a standard beneath the afternoon sun. Every roof was polished tile and gold leaf, the people smiled as they went about their business, suffering was obviously absent from the city which was quite different in the town. Anyone looking at the architecture either dreams of building better or wonder at the peace those in the city enjoy. But in the Pauls' mansion, the eldest son had once again caused trouble. The double doors slammed open. Mangolia stood framed in sunlight, hair wind-mussed, a streak of dust across his cheek, boots caked with dirt that didn’t belong anywhere near silk carpets.“Father,” he drawled, bowing with exaggerated grace. “You called?”“Don’t you dare want to get out of this” Alpha Skuzinlly Paul rumbled, his voice dangerously low as he took careful steps towards him. “Why did you do that?”Mangolia’s grin flickered. “Do what? I do a lot of

"I'm losing my mind" Ligon declared, his eyes heady with pleasure. His breath hitched, his body arching as she slid back down, her folds enveloping his shaft in a long, languid stroke. The friction rasped against his sensitive underside, every vein pulsing with the drag of her soaked core. Pleasure coiled tight in his balls, his orgasm building like a tidal wave, but he held back, mesmerized by her control; the way her thighs flexed, muscles rippling as she ground harder, faster now, chasing her own release. Her breaths came in sharp seductive pants, hips circling in a rhythm that had him seeing stars, wet sounds filling the air, as each glide became smoother and hotter. "Valia," he growled her name like he was in pain. His hands sliding up to cup her breasts, thumbs flicking her nipples as she bore down, a shudder passed through her, and he pulled her closer, rubbing her clit relentlessly against his tip. The pressure built unbearably, his shaft twitching with excitement. In one fi

Valia froze, breath catching at his sudden honesty. He caught her hands easily, his grip firm but unhurried, and with his free hand, began to undo each button she’d just closed, his gaze never leaving hers. Her gaze darted down, then back up. Her face flushed scarletand she took few steps back, creating an ample distance between them“Oh,” she whispered, a hand lightly covering her mouth.Ligon chuckled softly, his voice a velvet rumble. “Yes, oh.”"Then let me help you,” she said suddenly, throwing all caution to the wind. Surprising even herself. Her voice dropping to a huskier note as desire flickered in her gaze. Lifting her chin, she straightened her back and stepped towards him.Ligon’s mind raced back to that vivid wet dream, where their minds had melded in intimacy. He’d begged to help her then, and now the memory only fueled his arousal. His thick, six-inch shaft pulsed harder, visibly straining, causing Valia to falter mid-step, her confidence wavering. “Uh… wow, okay,” sh

For a long moment, Ligon simply sat, his eyes fixed on the door she had disappeared through. Then, quietly, almost to himself, he murmured,“By the moons… that woman will be my undoing.”He tried to turn his mind back to the parchments before him, but Valia’s image refused to fade. The damp sheen of her skin, the stubborn lift of her chin, the white cloth clinging to where his thoughts deliciously wanted to explore. His breath came rougher than before, and the silence of the chamber pressed against him like heat.Cursing softly under his breath, Ligon rose to his feet. He crossed the room to the frost chest. A rune-bound rectangular vessel of carved stone that exhaled a soft mist, powered by enchanted crystals. He pulled it open, and a gust of chilled air rolled out, brushing his bare forearms with a ghostly touch. He reached for a flask of cold water and held it for a moment against his temple, letting the frost bite at his skin. But that did little to tame the furnace blazing insid
